Is the Prophet of God lying?
I find that much of modern christianity rejects the authority of scripture and replaces it with their own thoughts and desires.
Don't believe me! Let us look at a verse.

(John 1:29 [AKJV])
The next day John sees Jesus coming to him, and said,
Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world.
(John 1:29 [GUV])
John is seeing on the morrow Jesus [Who] is coming (to) him, and is saying, see!
the Lamb of God [is coming], Who is taking away the sin of the world.

No matter what translation you use it will all say the same. The Lamb of God takes away the Sin of the world. Period! No action by the world is necessary to be forgiven. The Prophet speaks the Word of God. The Prophet is under the direct control of the Holy Spirit. The prophet gives the message exactly as God gave it to him. The message is "Complete" and concise. To add to the Prophets Words [Words of God] is rebellion against God. I know I for one will not defy the Prophets Words from God. This is a terrible dilemma for modern christianity. They stand in direct opposition to God's Prophet or they believe his message.
Well! Is he lying or telling the Truth? Will you believe him or alter his Words [Words of God]?

I believe Christ paid for the sins of the whole world. I have only met 2 other Christians that believe this.

Aside from the limited atonement group, the majority of Christians say they believe in unlimited atonement and Christ paid for the sins of the whole world.

BUT

What do people go to the LoF for?................Do we REALLY believe He paid for all sin or not?

Correct! No But's! It is the Word of God or not. Most want to distort the message and replace it with a "but".

If you wouldn't mind? Why are people placed in the LoF?

I hope you included me as one of those two.......... I've sure been called enough names for stating the same belief here.

Willie, why do you think people go to the Lake of fire?

I believe that if we think Christ paid for all sin, we have to carry that out to the final Judgement.

Do we REALLY believe ALL sin was paid for. So what are people judged for?

I don't see TLF quite the same way most people insist it has to be.... forever banished to burn for infinity. I see it as a serious chastisement for unbelievers who can still turn to Jesus.

Ok! I guess I have to post on it.
I was raised a baptist and believed all the doctrine taught. To make the story short God had me take another look at what I believed. He sent me into the Gospels with a command to only believe what I read and found in the original languages. I did not set out to prove or disprove, but find truth and where ever it lead. I read about hell and the lake of fire only from scripture and nowhere else. I read no books or commentaries on the subject, just the scripture. I compared and looked at every verse and corresponding reference I could find. I was really shocked at what I found. I read where God was an "eternal burning fire", funny that's what the lake of fire is an eternal burning fire. What are the chances of having two eternal burning fires. See where this is going. God is Love and His Love is so pure it burns all that corrupt to ashes. These people thrown in to the LOF are really being thrown into the heart of God. The only reason they are sent there is because they have rejected the forgiveness. Get it! They willfully reject the forgiveness. They stand in total defiance of God and He Loves them till there is nothing left of their defiance. Christ died for one Sin and one Sin [singular] alone and that was the sin of rebellion. The translators falsely translated it as sins [plural]. This is my personal belief and by Revelation so I don't expect anyone else to hold position. Of course I have in context scripture to back it up. My foundation is always in context scripture. Much of the teachings about hell are out of context and distorted.

The problem stems from false translation of many words we use. Gospel, Salvation, Saved, Forgiven, Repentance, Born Again, and a long list, have all been distorted to carry a false narrative to support a gospel never preached by Jesus or Paul. Since the base building blocks are corrupted so then is the rest of the building. Modern christianity is a farce and far removed from the original message of Jesus Christ. It all starts out at the verse which this thread is about. The prophet defines what the Lamb of God was sent to do, but his message is rejected by the modern church. The message is clear and stands as written without interpretation to destroy its meaning.

Yep, if we can ever manage to read the Scriptures without the pre-assumptions someone put in our brains, it is staggering what we find.

Well first we can not take one scripture and make it stand alone, we must go by the whole word of God;

Luke 13:3
I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.

2 Peter 1:9
But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

Romans 3:25
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

[h=1]1 John 1:7-10[/h]7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

This is why Paul had to go into seclusion in the desert. Paul had to unlearn all the false doctrines of the Pharisees before he could grasp the teachings of Jesus. It took me 6yrs to clean the trashy doctrines out of my head before I could see the beauty of the Gospel. When I started to search the scripture without assumptions it opened up a whole new world. It was not easy keeping those other thoughts out of my head. I managed it by only looking at what was in front of me and refusing to allow other verses to attach to what I was reading. This is how the deception takes hold. It done through out of context verses being connected to other out of context verses. This is how the false narrative is built. And we are all taught this false narrative from the beginning and thus we don't see. This is how the god of this world blinds us to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Let me put it this way. If you were standing by the Jordon river and heard John say these words what would they mean. Be honest! What would you believe the prophet was saying? You know nothing else but what the prophet is saying. What is he saying?

And I see the LoF as an eternal judgement. But even if I look at like you do.

What is the chastisement for? He paid for all sin.

I am not making a point. I believe that people are placed in the LoF for eternal judgement.

If Christ paid for all sin(and He did) why are people there? what are they judged by?
