True Christianity is about having a relationship with God and loving others. Christianity means being like Christ. Jesus corrected religious people in His days for instance, the scribes, Sadducees, and Pharisees who followed rituals, traditions, religious laws, and were morally good because they thought those good works will save them. Matt 23:27-"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness."

CHRISTIAN DOES IT MEAN CHRIST LIKE. I THINK SO. JESUS WAS AN ORTHODOX JEWISH AND WAS CALLED A RABBI. IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE STRICT WAY THEY OBEY AND FOLLOW THE TORAH, YOU MIGHT NOT TAKE THAT ROUTE. BUT AS BELIEVERS, WE ARE COMMANDED TO BE DISCIPLINED IN OUR SPIRITUAL NEWNESS IN CHRIST. THERE ARE THINGS THAT JESUS SAYS, THAT CAN BE JUST AS STRINGENT AND STRICT AS THE RULES OF THE OLD TESTAMENT. WHEN HE SAYS, IF SOMEONE SLAPS YOU ON YOUR FACE, ON ONE SIDE OF THE CHECK, TURN THE OTHER. WELL, WOULD WE DO IT, THE QUESTION IS COULD WE DO IT. DISCIPLINE AND OBIEDIENCE ARE JUST AS MUCH OF A FACTOR TO JESUS'S COMMANDMENTS AND HIS ORDERS TO FOLLOW THROUGH AS SOME OF THE LAWS OF THE OLD TESTAMENT WERE TO FOLLOW AND BE IN OBIDIENCE, AND BE DISCIPLINED. ANOTHER IS GIVE AND DO NOT ASK FOR IT BACK. COULD WE DO THAT. THE NEW TESTAMENT IS FILLED WITH AREAS OF DICIPLESHIP AND DISCIPLINE, THAT MANY DON'T WANT TO DO. THESE ARE DONE IN AN ACT OF LOVE TOWARDS OUR SAVIOR, AND WHAT HE HAS GIVEN AND DONE FOR US. WHAT IS THE TRUE RELIGION. MY OPINION IS WHAT CHRIST SAID. " I GIVE YOU A NEW COMMANDMENT, LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOUR SELF, AND LOVE THE LORD GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, SOUL, AND MIND. THIS TO ME IS THE TRUE FIRST CHURCH THAT JESUS TRIED TO ESTABLISH ON EARTH.
