our Father knew what the heart of man would do to Him....and how rebellious in nature we are born...

before conversion, all men do is seek idols of the heart, mind, spirit...forever putting other men
in high esteem and giving them the glory that belongs to God....

only by the grace of our heavenly Father are we able to 'come-out' - 'put-off' - that ugly, old, man....
He changes our hard-hearts into soft, pliable, humble, contrite receptors, seekers of all
that is good and upright....the proof of this is in our words, actions, and new Love growing daily
in the ways that we begin to serve our Master and our fellow-man....

Let no man take your crown.'

Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Heb 1:1 ¶ God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

The Father and the Son are God because God will not give His glory to another.

John 17:18-24

[SUP]18 [/SUP]As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. [SUP] [/SUP]And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
