2 Thessalonians 2:1-2
Easy-to-Read Version

2 Brothers and sisters, we have something to say about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We want to talk to you about that time when we will meet together with him. 2 Don’t let yourselves be easily upset or worried if you hear that the day of the Lord has already come. Someone might say that this idea came from us—in something the Spirit told us, or in something we said, or in a letter we wrote.

from their nwt,
However, brothers, concerning the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you 2 not to be quickly shaken from your reason nor to be alarmed either by an inspired statement or by a spoken message or by a letter appearing to be from us, to the effect that the day of Jehovah is here.

Both verses are part of the same sentence in Greek, have the same Grammar and same word for Lord. If one translates on spot at Jehovah, then they must translate the other as Jehovah Jesus Christ. There is no honest way around this.

Good Night and G_d Bless all, Daniel

First off, JW's don't believe in the Concept of the Trinity
Over 30% of Evangelicals now reject the trinity doctrine. They're doing their own thinking.

They have no issue with calling Jesus a "son of God". They call Satan, Michael, sons of god too.
Bible calls them sons of God!

They believe The Christ is a created being just like the angels I listed.
That's exactly what the word 'firstborn' implies - a beginning and being created.

JW's deny the deity of Christ and that HE is God, which makes them a theological Cult, and
have the spirit of "anti-christ".
Trinity is also a cult. They shun, shame and disfellowship non-trinitarians. They are not anti-Christ. You are for accusing them. You have no clue what ANTICHRIST is!

Their teaching should be avoided at all costs by Christians Unless the Lord Leads you to speak with them.
There's heresy in every church. If they are a cult - so are Trinitarian Protestants.

I believe that The Holy Spirit is GOD's Power.
I will say, Walter, that is a little subtle. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Lord God; therefore, He is God, not a force. Which I might

Add the JW's teach the Holy Spirit is a Force. That is unbiblical.

Wow, thank you for using my words in your post :) I could not disagree more with your responses, but that doesn't matter anymore now, does it?

I believe that The Holy Spirit is GOD's Power.
For someone who claims to understand God's word so well you sure seem pretty ignorant on this one. Scripture refers to the Holy Spirit as "He," not "it."

You are saying this because of your belief, and I said what I believe.
Well, you "beliefs" are contrary to the policies of this forum. See here: https://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/guidelines-for-reporting-posts.188234/

All too often what gets reported as heresy is not, but I routinely find heretical posts that have never been reported.
Heresies (not all inclusive):
Rejection of the Deity/Eternality of Christ
Universalism (everyone ends up in heaven eventually)
Rejection of the Omniscience/Omnipotence/Omnipresence of God
Rejection of the Trinity
If you need clarification, feel free to message me.

Hello Grace_ambassador, I do not see any other scripture besides When Jesus said Himself that GOD Is A SPIRIT.
That's not how you arrive at any doctrine. Kindly invest in Nave's Topical Bible (KJV) and see how passages are brought together with relevant verses to establish truth.

Of course God the Father is a Spirit (with a Spirit body). But God the Holy Spirit is also Spirit -- without any body. They are two distinct divine persons. I have shown in other posts that the Father is presented as having a Spirit body in several passages. But that does not limit the Father in any way. Neither are we supposed to "explain" these mysteries.

I'm not a J.W.Witness I'm a Christian
And by "Christian" you mean one of the true Christians. right? Because you keep the law and the Sabbath. You probably keep the feasts and mark time by the moon. All this makes you a Christian while the other ignorant saps out there are only kidding themselves.

Yes, I'm aware, but I will try to change your belief.
