But i still made that assertion.

A man can be a father and a son at the same time and in the same place and even in different places, but what the man can not be is the father and the son because it is physically impossible to be two seperate entities and be the same person at the same time, a father can never call himself his own son.
That's NOT what The Trinity even is in the first place.

Each is NOT the other; but each IS the One God.

Simple logic.

Jehovah's Witnesses are known for preaching worldwide about the Kingdom of God which was the theme of Jesus' preaching. They seek to make God's name Jehovah known as Jesus told his followers to pray in the Lord's Prayer. They study the Bible, seek to apply it in their lives and like Jesus seek to help others to do the same.(Matthew 5; 6:9,10; Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 48:17,18; 2 Timothy 3:16,17)
They know that the Kingdom that Jesus preached about will come soon and bring true peace and security to the earth.(Isaiah 9:6,7; Psalm 37:10,11;Isaiah 2:1-4; Daniel 2:44)

I think the most controversial thing about them is their belief regarding Blood Transfusions. I dread to think of how many people have died over the years because of this teaching. I remember some years ago bringing up this subject with a JW.
His answer was that people who have transfusions ''Die Anyway!!!''

I was asked some questions about them (JWs). I know they have some beliefs that are not mainstream, but I can't remember what was controversial about them. Could someone summarize the key issues that set them apart?
do you really think your going to get an honest answer here?
