All through the word God is saying do this to that but for whatever reason some think they cant do anything. God has not asked us to do the impossible..he gave us power to do these things...

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. ...

God will not accept a sinful disobedient sacrifice...
So, then I am very sorry for all, for not one is perfect in and of their own unredeemed flesh, and no flesh pleases God the Father but Christ's and he condemned all sin to the flesh.

We can now live a Holy life, but not from any of our own efforts, from God working God's finished work of Christ through us by Faith, in the resurrected Christ where we receive the Holy Spirit of truth, in the resurrected Christ, Justified in God's Spirit not flesh ever.
So all the works of flesh Brother will burn up at Judgment day, and last if not least then we go through the fire and are either burned up or not. Any of God's work done through us by Faith will not burn up, and we go through the fire as well/
Read it pretty clear 1 Cor 3

Christ was in the flesh walking after the spirit. He obeyed the Father unto death,He says we are to do the same. It is not impossible. Have we not been redeemed? We belong to God, he paid for us.

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

You misunderstand that scripture brother...do you not know the difference between works of the flesh and works of the spirit?
[SUP]
19 [/SUP]Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

[SUP]20 [/SUP]Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
[SUP]23 [/SUP]Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

Christ was born of the Virgin Mary so not one other can do what Christ did perfectly, not one. Or were you born of a Virgin also?
you see it is through Christ that we are one with Christ by belief, made perfect in front of Father by the death, being presented this way to Father through Son's perfect work. All that is left is to get new life in Spirit and truth

1 Corinthians 15:42
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

Please Newbirth God the Father is calling you to life in Spirit and truth in the resurrected Christ here and now today
God is not pleased with flesh and is a Spirit and can only be worshiped this way in Spirit and truth.
I hope and pray you put no confidence in flesh
Philippians 3:3
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

No better than that we are born of Christ

If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

You are just proving that you are not being transformed. You are waiting for a miracle transformation when God says you be transformed by the renewing of your mind and prove to the world He did a work in you.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

This verse is not about walking in spirit...this verse is about a resurrection body

That is why we don't walk after the flesh bro we have no confidence in it. But we live in the body of flesh which must be controlled by the spiritual man.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

You do as you see, and I pray for us both that we walk in God (Yeweh) as God sees fit not me or anyone else
Tell me can you state hat you will never sin again, ever while alive here in unredeemed flesh?

To begin brother I have been redeemed.....
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

And the spirit of God dwells in me ...I have no desire to sin...and I am confident God will not allow me to be tempted above that which I can bear...and with the temptation he will make a way of escape. And if I do sin I have an advocate Jesus Christ the righteous.

Is this a trick question?....God is Jehovah and we are his witness here on earth...If I say yes you pin me to a doctrine if I say no I deny God....Yet I am Christ's...

I don't think you do, but surely you do not consider the New World Translation (Jehovah Witness Bible), to be a valid translation do you? Just in case you do, or others who read these posts, I documented years ago that the NWT had been polluted with footnote comments that where lifted into the Tests as if GOD actually said those things. Here is that documentation proving the NWT is an INVALID Translation:

t t t

The JW stance is to allow their Translators to add anything they wanted to the inspired Text, to make the Scriptures say EXACTLY what THEY wanted them to say,

instead of what GOD really inspired the Prophets and Apostles to say.

Now that may sound like a very BOLD statement, but I have absolute PROOF that the Watchtower Society's TRANSLATORS actually admitted to doing EXACTLY WHAT I JUST STATED.

Ask any Jehovah Witness, "Do you believe that anyone who adds their own words to the Word of God is a False Prophet?" If they say "Yes", then ask them to read the FOREWORD of the Second Edition of the New World Translation copyright 1961, THAT GREEN HARDBACK THEY USED TO HAND OUT IN THE 60's & 70's:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
FOREWORD
IT IS a very responsible thing to translate the Holy Scriptures from their original languages, Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, into modern speech. Translating the Holy Scriptures means a rendering into another language the thoughts and sayings of the heavenly Author of this sacred library of sixty-six books, Jehovah God, which holy men of long ago put down in writing under inspiration for our benefit today.
That is a sobering thought. The translators who have a fear and love of the divine Author of the Holy Scriptures feel especially a responsibility toward Him to transmit his thoughts and declarations as accurately as possible. They also feel a responsibility toward the searching readers of the modern translation who depend upon the inspired Word of the Most High God for their everlasting salvation.
It was with such a sense of solemn responsibility that the committee of dedicated men have produced the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures, over the course of many years. As soon as each part of the translation became available for publication it was turned over to the publishers for printing, all together in six volumes. The New World Translation of the Christian Greek Scriptures, containing the twenty-seven books from Matthew through The Revelation, first appeared in 1950. In due order the volumes of the New World Translation of the Hebrew-Aramaic Scriptures appeared, the first volume in 1953, the second in 1955, the third in 1957, the fourth in 1958, and the fifth in 1960.
From the start of the work it was the desire of the translators to have all these contemplated volumes brought together in the form of one book, inasmuch as the Holy Scriptures are in fact one book by the One Author. To this end, as soon as the final volume of the series had been issued in 1960, the committee set to work to prepare the entire translation for publication under one cover. The committee was then able to take under survey the translation as a whole and to discern where improvements could be made.
An effort was put forth to bring about even greater consistency in the renderings of the related parts of the Holy Scriptures, such as in harmonizing with the original Hebrew readings of the reading of quotations made in the Christian Greek Scriptures. Since the one-volume edition of the Holy Scriptures was to contain no footnotes,
many footnote readings
that had appeared in the earlier translation
in six distinct volumes were lifted and put into the main text of the
one-volume edition
.
This does not mean that the earlier rendering that was now replaced was rejected. Rather, the purpose was to attain to closer conformity to the literal reading in the original languages. All this process has resulted in revisions in the main text of the translation.
The now completed one-volume edition may therefore be properly called a revised edition of the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. In releasing it for publication we do so with a deep sense of gratitude to the Divine Author of the Holy Scriptures, who has thus privileged us and in whose spirit we have trusted to co-operate with us in this worthy work. We hope for His blessing upon the published translation in behalf of all who read and use it in learning his holy will.
DOES THAT NOT SOLIDLY IDENTIFY THE WATCHTOWER SOCIETY AS A FALSE PROPHET.
A lot of us Christians started pointing out to them that the New World Bible Translation Committee admitted that they lifted their footnotes into the text, thus adding their words to the Word of God. The Watch Tower Society, responded by publishing a third edition, totally changing the FORWARD, and deleting that paragraph entirely.
Prov 30:6 (KJV)
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
R we really obeying Him when we gather together in His name? There is more to communion than a thimble full of Welches and and a bite size cracker which is, by the way, catholic in origin. We r to discern His body that the Father prepared for Him. Who is Christ's body since He ascended?
That body is us and we were prepared for Him to fill us and operate through us all when we assemble. That's not happening. Jesus is being short changed and so r we. He may be our Savior but He is not our Lord as defined by this thread.
The traditions of men r n the way, as usual, some things never change. I hear some one already saying 'but, but....'. We need to get our 'buts' out of the way and start aligning with His word.
Do you know what the real kick in the caboose is here? The Father goes to all this trouble to 'prepare for His Son a body' and He can't even use it, all members that is. See: 1Cor. 12 and 14 and Romans 12 and Ephesians 4. Savior He may be, Lord He is Not! When will somebody finally wake up? Hope springs eternal. I have hope. My prayer is 'slumber and sleep, be gone'.
