Jesus Christ was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate. St. Matthew 27:35,38 says, "Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments ... Then two robbers were crucified with Him, one on the right and another on the left." NKJV OSB page 1325.

The Quran says that Jesus Christ was not crucified. That is wrong. The Quran is not without problems. It is not always truthful.

This seems to lack any kind of context.

The Quran is chock full of lies and nonsense. Any objective thinking person can see that.

Not sure why you made this thread.

Islam via the Quran denies that Jesus is God's Son, let alone that he is himself divine.

Yeah. Duh.

The Quran is full of lies and stupidity. It's the psychotic rantings of an egomaniac that believed himself to be enlightened and educated.

Why people follow it, I have no clue. It says if there is even one error to be found in the Quran then the whole thing is a lie. Bold statement. Unfortunately for them, it is full of errors. That's why they have to bend over backwards to try and justify and defend it. Even ONE MISTAKE makes the whole thing false. They're stuck in the 7th century forever.

Who paid the 30 pieces of silver to Judas?

Matthew 27:25 Then answered all the people and said his blood be on us and on our children.

Who are these people?

Who washed his hands? Was it the priests, or Pontious Pilate?

Who tried to stone Jesus? Was it the Romans or the Jews?

Who called Jesus a blasphemer? Was it the Jews or the Romans?

Who called Jesus the Devil? Was it the Jews or the Romans?

Flavius Josephus, who writes in his Jewish Antiquities 18.63-64:
At this time there appeared Jesus, a wise man. For he was a doer of startling deeds, a teacher of the people who receive the truth with pleasure. And he gained a following both among many Jews and among many of Greek origin. And when Pilate, because of an accusation made by the leading men among us, condemned him to the cross, those who had loved him previously did not cease to do so. And up until this very day the tribe of Christians, named after him, has not died out.

and:

The Roman historian Tacitus's evidence for the historical existence of Christ and early Christians is found in his Annals (written ca. 116 AD), book 15, chapter 44. Tacitus refers to Christ, Pontius Pilate, and mass executions of the Christians.[1] The passage contains an early non-Christian reference to the origin of Christianity, the execution of Christ described in the Canonical gospels, and the presence and persecution of Christians in 1st-century Rome.[2][3]

Pontius Pilate was not a bad man. He actualy was a man of integrety. He knew Christ had done no wrong. Tiberious Caesar had told him to let the people have their way in religious matters. Caiphas the high preist was the bad guy.
