Well guys., guess what? It's already a fact that not all of us Christians here on CC agree on many things concerning the Bible. But the difference between some and some others is this..... we don't need to tear down other brothers and sisters in Christ in order to justify ourselves or our beliefs. God is more than able to persuade us that He is able to keep what we have committed to Him.
Sooo, I will continue to post what the Lord has shown me despite some opposition and I'll do it with joy in my heart and conviction of the righteousness Jesus has given me. Why? because Jesus is our qualification.

[FONT="]These differences in interpretation are going to come up and we need to get used to it. There is a need to be able to communicate with other believers and to do it well. There are millions on both sides of many issues. We do no credit to Jesus by accusing our brothers and sisters in Christ of heresy just because they don't see verses exactly the same way we do.
The word is "schism" is an interesting word I never really thought of before coming to CC. The word can be found in 1 Cor.12:25

Every born-again believer has the Holy Spirit resident within their very being. At conversion, the believing sinner is granted the positional status of justification. This is a declaration of God spoken over the heart and life of everyone that has chosen to depend upon Christ as their Savior. Having expressed faith in God's Son, God declares the believing sinner as righteous. Based upon this declaration of justification the believer is qualified for and instantly becomes the temple of the Holy Spirit. As soon as the Holy Spirit enters the new creation man, He begins the process of change. There is no destructive habit that He can't overwhelm, overcome, or overthrow. There is no besetting sin or lingering vine of the fall that He can't remove. He only asks that the believer keep their faith in Christ and His sacrifice on Calvary. Though growth is never as quick as we desire, there is no stopping the power of the Holy Spirit in cleaning this temple. Therefore, whatever is standing in your way or preventing or even slowing down your new desire for holiness, is sure to be eliminated by the power of the Spirit. Be encouraged! Your victory is promised and assured!

no one has called you a heretic or accused you of heresy. we point out the many errors of the false teacher Joseph Prince and you defend him by trying to make it seem we are attacking you. no one here is that dumb joaniemaire. stop playing the innocent here who just wants to talk about Jesus because that is not going on
do you remember the last time you actually did talk about Jesus here without doing so via a post from your teachers Ellis and or Prince? do you not start these threads with so called devotions from these people? well we all know that you do. so, the op is actually about what they teach...with Prince in particular appearing more than Ellis in your op's
stop trying to make it seem anything else is going on here other than people being disgusted with the erroneous and egregious errors of the people whose teachings you insist on posting
you talk about discussing...but now you have used the word schism...so it is discussing if you do it, but if we do not agree with Joseph Prince or Ellis, then we are creating a schism

you obviously mean those who do not agree with Prince, even though you said 'we', your reference is not to yourself
the Bible is not verses joaniemarie. it is the word of God and should be handled with respect and neither Prince nor Ellis do so
the letters in the New Testament were not written in chapters and verses. they were letters. picking and choosing certain verses, what false teachers excel at doing, is how you are learning to study.
the word schism does not even apply in a chat forum. this is a discussion forum and not a church. this is not a church about to split because of a schism, it is a discussion forum and should you leave tomorrow or should any one of us leave, things will go on the same as they did before, during and after
I don't expect you to see that, or to acknowledge what I said regarding your accusatory posts to those who point out the errors in the false teachings of those you seem to favor
some of your posts to those who respond in your threads are as false as the teachers you appear to choose
using words like schism to describe a refutation of a false teacher in a public Bible discussion forum, on the internet, with people from different countries, seems to indicate you believe that you are somehow contributing to the good of the world here and those who disagree are damaging everyone
joaniemarie...I would suggest to you that if you actually believed such a thing, you would apply this to yourself first and if you actually just wanted to discuss God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, you would do so without creating the atmosphere for disagreement that you provide when you put Prince on a pulpit and then sit back and wait for the response
you know what the response will be.
we are not discussing God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. we are discussing the twisting of the word of God by Joseph Prince and you don't like it one bit
that is all that is going on here. we are not discussing you or creating a schism
I won't answer whatever long and tedious response you may care to provide to this post because it is burdensome to try and reason with someone who accuses and falsely so and says things that have no bearing on the actual discussion
Well 7seas., sorry you feel that way. But I'm neither sly nor sneaky. But since you believe that way about me why in the world do you keep wasting your time and reading my annoying threads? You only get vexed and then feel this need to post your vexation at me for all to read.
There are many people and mostly Christians from all over the world that come here and post on CC and you can't make everyone do what you want. But here's what we can do 7seas., we can avoid the threads and posts we know will bother us and not edify us or others. We can allow the moderators to do their job and not try to do it for them.
Because for sure if you don't want to argue., "HELLO" you don't GO to a thread that is discussing something you don't agree with and can't be civil about. If you want to learn and discuss the matter? go for it., but if you are going there just to argue and accuse and condemn than you are only causing problems and yes causing schisms.
It's common sense AND common manners to do a PASS 7seas. People do it here all the time. I do too. I pass many threads I don't agree with or threads that the OP is known for their beliefs on a subject and who is not a receptive individual and wouldn't welcome my attendance or my opinions. I do a PASS.
And that is what you should do too 7seas. Do a pass. Or better yet put me on ignore. I've suggested this to you before but you seem to always prefer to sling the mud. I hope next time you will pass me by.
