Greetings, and peace be multiplied unto you
I am writing this thread to give a chance for everyone to think about "who" Jesus really is.

Lets go to the 1st chapter of John
John1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shined in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him mihgt believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that light.
9 That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes inot the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew him not.

12 But as many as recieved Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name;
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of flesh, nor of the will of men, but of God.
14 and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

"now when we get to verse 18 we see this
18 No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he declares him.

Now, I believe that the Word was God, I believe that in God was Life, and that Life was made the light of men, I believe "that Light" was Jesus Christ, Now in John 1:4 we see that the Life was in God- and we see that that Life which was "the Light" which created the world, came into the world and we knew him not.. I believe the Word-which was God, became flesh as a light unto men, however God was the Word, and though the Word was made flesh and the Life that was in God entered it, the flesh (which is what men has seen) was not God, it was the manifestation of Gods Life in man, hence He was the Son of God and also the Son of man.

Lets go to Revelations 1:7
We see Jesus coming in the clouds and what does he say in verse 8? "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. In verse 11 John hears these statements again and in verse 12 he turns to see who is speaking and in verse 13f he sees "One like unto the Son of man."

In John 20:28 Thomas has just seen Jesus resurrected and exclaims "My Lord and my God" does Jesus rebuke him? no in verse 29 he says "Thomas because you have seen me you believed; blessed are they that have not seen me and believed"

whatever conclusion you draw as to who Jesus really is there are a few things that cannot be disputed.
1st, Jesus, has always been.
2nd,He has the ability to be in every one of us, teaching us all different things simultaneously while also being in heaven at the same exact time, meaning He has an infinite Spirit which has no bounds.
3rd, Our God is a jealous God who won't let us worship any God but Him and He say's that only if we worship Jesus Christ will we find salvation, this same Jesus who would be named "immanuel" which is literally translated "God with us"

I hope everyone enjoys this study. I look forward to what you all add to it :)
God bless

Deadtosin, another confirmation, thank you for posting this. You see we are about to learn how the "I am glorified in them" part in John 17 realizes. I saw a vision but it is difficult to put together with all the distraction that comes on this Christian Site! I already spoke ot a few people about it, and even they did not get the verses fit together.

Well the vision keeps coming up and soon I will get all the text I have to use in order. I am not special, the visions are. Let me just sahre tis one part with you now and all who can read can start thinking about this....

When Jesus prayed to the Father in John 17 He said... Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
And then He says.... I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
And then He says... And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
And then He says... And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. .... And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

So just taking the glorification into account, we see three steps of glorification here. One Jesus had while He was here on earth, as the Son of MAN! And that one He gave to the ones that was with Him. And by giving them this glory He was glorified in them! Now Jesus gave the MEN WITH HIM GLORY! That has to be a glorified person. If Jesus gives you the same glory He had, how glorious is that?

These levels of glory we will see in the process EVERY Child of God goes through... If you did not see it yet!

God bless us with your Wonderful Word, Amen!
