Chapter 8 : It’s time for Bildad to speak. Like Eliphaz, he is not encouraging at all !
Job 8:3 : « and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind ? »
So Job was able to help many people who were in trouble and now he is good to nothing ! Strange !
Where is pride ? For Bildad, Job is a sinner and is guilty because God doesn’t pay attention to him ! Childish again, pure nonsense ! Is it because you are in trouble or ill that you are guilty ? It seems to be that Eliphaz and Bildad say the same things, but I don’t see any encouragement, it seems really boring ! But then it enhances Job’s personality ! There is not a lot to say !

It is easy to speak nonsense, it is far more difficult to speak using our mind and experience of life!

How patient is Job to listen to what his associates tell him! And they repeat each other! And job not only listens to them but he speaks to them! And they don't care , they keep repeating the same things! I mean it's alright when it's someone who is old and you have to take care of him! It's a good way to see if he still has his mind! But it's another story, here they are young, that's the problem!

Job is also an incredible example of faith and of faithfulness. At the difference of Daniel and Samuel we are told about him when he is older. I would have appreciated to know how he became such an example. Anyway when Satan strikes him violently and gradually he keeps faithful to God meaning his faith is based on rocks and not on sand and this is a good example to remember when we get into trouble. He doesn’t let anybody put in danger his faith even the people who are close to him. Even when they accuse him or condemn him he keeps straight in his boots through the storm and what a storm! And he keeps expressing his feelings and his distress. Speaking is better than keeping quiet because it means you have a fighting spirit and you refuse what is going on. Even if we may think of death like Job we do our best to cling to life. We may say words we wouldn’t say when everything is right but who could blame us? Maybe those who have never get into big trouble? But what will happen when they get into such trouble? How will they speak and act? Worse than that? Sometimes it is better to think than to speak! And there is a big difference when something happens to you and you don't know like Job or when you know it like Jesus who was on a mission!

Job is an incredible book because it helps you to learn how to speak deeply to God with your heart and not automatically as a ritual which means he is not going to listen to you. The more you do it the more you learn to express deeply and the more God appears to you as a father and someone who is real and who listens to you. It is far away from our modern way of communication with modern instruments with the result that it is more difficult to dialogue with people when we are in front of them meaning it is also necessary to listen carefully and not being distracted.

We gotta trust Him no matter what happens or no matter what anyone says. He is faithful.
The Lord gives and the Lord takes away...blessed be the name of the Lord!

Yes, always knowing where we are and where we are going even in the storm or the fog or at night.

I am on the road...to my home...in the New Jerusalem.
Looking neither to the left, nor to the right
But gazing straight ahead I see a glorious sight
Descending from the sky, adorned like a bride...is my home!
I'm on the road, I'm going home, I'm on the road, I'm not alone
I'm on the road...to my home!
And when I get there, there will be...
No more death, no more mourning
No more crying...or pain!
I was standing on a street in the New Jerusalem
I was looking into Jesus' eyes, as He was looking into mine
He's taller than I thought He'd be, He was looking down at me
In His eyes I could see His love for me as He was smiling at me!

I wrote this song from vision and a near-death experience. I was in emergency and as they were writing out my time of death, my heart started beating again. I call it, "On The Road," and when I get overwhelmed with my health issues, I sing it and it focuses me.

Definitely from a vision, it’s like watching a movie, we get inside the trip. First impression but tomorrow and the next days a lot more to express about. Many pictures and deep feelings. Great job! Thanks a lot!

It is definitely the right way: there is only one way to faithfulness and no way back, we must know where we go, only one option!

We still live in this dying world without any pilot which goes nowhere with no hope, we have nothing to wait for. We must prepare for a better world where there will be only room for faithfulness. We will be able to build something completely different and forget this dying world which has nothing to offer. We will be able to work for the Great Architect and learn from him. When we live in this world we can’t imagine how it will be, we must wait for it and prepare for it!

Get close to Jesus what a privilege it will be in the future! And follow him! And learn from him!
