The LORD is Master, Commander, Leader, Federal Head, Sovereign Ruler, Logos, King of the Jews.....

And a whole lot more.

Does he really have that much money? Shouldn't he be giving most of it away save a mil to ensure that he goes to Heaven?

A history lesson is what is needed. In the 1800s before the enlightenment, there was a great void of any Christian presence.
Some of the colonies were started as a Christians colony, the others were imperial expansionism. By the time of the revolution and the founding of our country christianity was a sociopolitical identity not an actuality for many.
The it was Christians vs the Catholic irish in murderous gangland style ghetto wars shortly there after.
There has only ever been a whisper of a ghost of real christianity in this country ever.

If you're John MacArthur and make it to John MacArthur's age you don't give a hoot about money.
And no one will ever be able to accuse MacArthur of being a jet setter, a prosperity gospel punk, or living a lavish conspicuous lifestyle. Not even close.
