...in the early days there was no divide, there was no Christian and Jew, they were all Jews
How could that be since God began adding Gentiles to the Church almost immediately after Pentecost, and the churches of the Roman Empire consisted of both Jews and Gentiles? So all those who were saved considered themselves Christians, and Paul made it clear that within the Church there was to be no division. At the same time, the majority of Jews in every region opposed Paul and rejected Christ, and that is the divide we are talking about. It is the unsaved Jews who persecuted the church at Jerusalem (and persecuted Paul and his companions in other regions), and as a result all the Hebrew Christians were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. Study the book of Acts.
this does not add up with historical facts. when James was murdered by the pharisees the city revolted and wanted to lynch every pharisee leader, the pharisees had to fire much of their leadership including the high priest who was replaced by a new one named Jesus of all names. the pharisees would never have gone to so much trouble if the majority of the Jews rejected Jesus anyway.
I am not sure where you got this "historical account". It does not add up with what is stated in Scripture or what was written by people like Hegesippus or Josephus.

That is why I posted this along with the rest: Am
I saying throw out the Old Testament, absolutely
not. The first six covenants let us to the seventh to
bring us Christ on the cross. The seed has germinated,
the flower flourishes. The seed dies so the flower can live. :D

Yes,I noticed that you said that. Some do believe that though. So I was explaining it to brother Mcubed.

the Jews were the biggest supporter of Jesus, they were the "crowds" that followed Him everywhere. your confusing the Jews with the Jewish priest leadership which was dominated by pharisee influence. the Jewish people were starting to get sick of the pharisees and this began before Jesus started His ministry, we see this with John the baptist and his followers.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James,_brother_of_Jesus

here is a wiki link, wiki is not 100% acculturate but its a good place to start. much of whats there can be verified.
the death of James is documented by Josephus and he backs up much of what i said. btw there is more historical writing about James than Jesus, the 12 and John. many use these accounts to verify the historical Jesus as most use terms such as "James the brother of Jesus", "the brother of our Lord" and such.
