I recently started reading the book of Psalms. I have made a goal to read three chapters a day and on the first day I noticed something that confused me. In the book of Revelations, it says that God will bring us ALL before him to be judged for our sins. Then in Psalms 1:5 it says "Therefore the Ungodly shall not stand in the judgement, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous." Do these two scriptures tie into eachother? If so, how? Don't they contradict eachother

Hi Samual. the can't stand means they cannot stand the judgement. It doesn not mean that they are not present at the judgement.

So no contradiction there.

All will have to stand before the Lord to be judged, those that are covered in Christ's righteousness or wearing His white robes will stand guiltless (Saved), but those that are wearing their own righteousness will not stand but be condemned as unsaved.
"Therefore the Ungodly shall not be able to stand in the judgement without being condemned"
