Actually, I am going to be as bold as to say that it is possible that the United States could be the revived Roman Empire with all is colusiums, even our government is copied after what Rome had with it's senators and republic. The buildings etc. I surely hope not.
Are you serious or joking right now? I can't tell.

Number one: Rome was a Republic, then an Empire. So if you're alluding to Christ's crucifixion, your argument is innately flawed. Rome became an empire in 44 BC, when Julius Cesar was appointed perpetual dictator. Pontius Pilate served as a Prefect of Judea under the Roman Empire from AD 26-36. Prior to that it was a classical republic.

Number two: Nip your paranoia in the bud, the United States isn't the only country with Roman influenced architecture (Rome was home to some of the greatest architectural accomplishments known to man), and two, the United States is not the only country with a form of government that was influenced in one way or another by the classical republics of the world.

I give you this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Republicas_mundiales.png

Lol, I know, it's just funny that at my school, wikipedia was not allowed to be used as a source for a paper, no matter what. It's like, the stuff on wikipedia is the same as all the rest of the stuff online. Anybody can go online and write something, buy an official looking url, and throw out reasons that they are a good source of info, so why can't we use wiki?

All I can do is roll my eyes at some of this stuff. Are you the harbinger of God's wrath, Cup? Did He speak to you and tell you to prophesy this to us?
No, I don't think God would choose me to prophecise, really what i'm saying is more observable fact and I interpret that with the benefit of scripture, what I am saying is true and happening for those who have eyes to see.

And what about the thousands of people before you in every generation before our own that were yelling the same thing about every other nation that was powerful? We are still standing...the world hasn't ended yet.

Don't dodge the difficult questions. Why ignore my post? It pretty much proves you're acting like a loonie.

I don't know what that has to do with what I have posted, but thanks for your comments.

It has everything to do with your post. People have been saying the same things you are about God's wrath coming down on this nation or that nation, blah blah blah, for centuries. But, those nations still stand. You say that the time is near, well, they've been saying the time is near for a really really long time now. What makes YOU so certain that it's going to happen soon? Can you give us evidence, can you give us Scripture?

We really ought to be careful in the things we say. What you are saying sounds a lot like you are trying to prophesy something, yet you give NO distinct evidence or facts to what you're saying. You just say you've done research or you've discerned this somehow. Do you mind sharing for those of us who, I guess don't have the eyes to see this, just how you've come to this conclusion?

If you can't justify this more than your vague answers, you have no reason whatsoever to start throwing around God's wrath like you somehow are gifted with the ability to sense it. These conspiracies with no proof, these accusations with no explaination, they don't do anything to help Christianity, they cause rifts and arguements. Be careful before you speak.

Basically, what i'm saying is, America, as much as I love the old dog, is nothing special in the grand scheme.

As a country we are no more evil or benevolent than any other country.

Figure it out.

-Edit: Well, I don't know about evil...but that's a pretty subjective term at times. You get my point though.

Are you admonishing me? If you can disprove anything I have said go right ahead, I have given evidence and scripture, what I have said is happening, if you cannot see it that is not my problem.

Admonish, maybe not, but doubt you, very much so. God tells us to beware the false prophets, and all I see coming from you is a bunch of irrational mumbo jumbo studded with vague scripture and a whole lot of conspiracy.

Okay, so America's got a lot of debt, and our money isn't backed up by gold reserves anymore. And it hasn't been, for a very long time. But, let's take look at the debt the REST of the world is in.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_external_debt

Looks like the UK is only trailing the US by a fraction, and a LOT of countries have a larger percentage of debt against their GDP, including the UK who is at 374% compared to the US at 95%. Where is their wrath, Cup? Are you going to condemn them too? Tell me, Cup, what is the Euro backed up by? It's sure not backed up by gold, in fact, I'm pretty sure nobody uses a gold system. The Euro is an intangible piece of paper debt, too, and even more nations use that than use the US dollar. So what's your point? The US uses paper money not backed up by anything. All the nations who use the Euro have debt and use money that isn't backed up by anything...

I fail to see why America get's all your rage.

Thank you, Harley, for putting my thoughts into more words.

If you can't see it now Cup, it is because you're turning a blind eye on reason.
