I have studied the bible for quite a long time.
Here are some things I think need to be considered.
There is no "God".
The definition of faith is to believe in something.
To be truly faithful you have to believe in something completely farfetched, no matter how rediculous.
There have been many faiths through history.
Civilizations have always tried to point out creators or just one creator to give purpose to life.
There are currently many religions still going. No one is truly right.
But the thing about faith is that you have to believe that you are the correct one even in the face of doubt.
I feel there is no God or gods because, since you can either be 100% right or 100% wrong, once you are disproven you have no where to go.
You cannot bend the rules to make your religion right.
There either is 100% a God.
Or there isin't.
But science is ever changing.
From the second we pondered not why we are here but what gives us life, we have been constantly evolving our books.
There was a time where it was said that the Earth was the center of the universe.
But now we know that we revolve around the sun and that there really isin't an exact center of the universe seeing as the universe is almost infinite.
Even though we aren't 100% sure of the universe and space around us, we have came up with theories.
Theories are ideas that are flexible and can be changed. All theories are bent until 100% correct. Then these ideas become laws.
A law is something undeniable. You cannot deny that an object in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon by another force. This is the law of momentum. You cannot disprove it.
The big bang is a theory.
There is not 100% evidence to prove it. But because we are gathering evidence everytime we study astrology, this theory can be flexed until it is perfect. We find evidence in every study of it.
God is not a theory.
This is a faith. You can either believe that he is there, or he is not.
It is not possible to create a whole living world within seven days.
We know for a fact the Earth is much older than the bible says.
Jesus is not real.
It is not possible to reserect from the dead.
A virgin cannot give birth.
You cannot heal with magic.
You cannot be a ghost (for one ghosts dont even exist), a son of God, and be your own father somehow at the same time. (Multiple personality disorder?!)
But it is faith because you can be told these completely irrational and completely disproved things and still feel in your heart that there is a God.
Your heart can "feel" many things.
Anger, happiness, sadness, depression, excitment.
But these feelings are because of chemicals set off by the body's reaction to a situation.
You feel excited because you have adrenaline to survive in any situation.
God has been disproved completely.
But because it is faith, people still believe.
So let them.
The bible also has instances that do not make sense.
Jesus is three personalities in one. This is a disease we know as Multiple Personality Disorder.
But speaking of personalities, everyone has a different personality.
The bible is written all in the same personality.
One person wrote it.
Because if there really were many contributors to the bible, it would have a more all over the place feeling.

If God really were real, there would be no need for doubt.
If he really loved all his children there wouldn't be "evil"
Since God is the "creator" of the universe, you'd think he'd be smart enough to not create a devil.
But then there is one question. Did he create the devil to test his children, whom he loves so dearly, if they were worthy enough to spend eternity in "heaven" with him?
True love does not need tests. Also if he really wanted the best for all his children, we'd all end up going to heaven anyway.
God is also the devil then.
He is the controller of fate.
He is the one with the plans for each person.
So he puts some people through a very sucsessful and easy life.
While others are tested and tried through things that are difficult.
Starving children.
Babies who were born "sinners" yet never had a chance to sin.
Good people dying.
This is not the love of any one, let alone a father.
The truth is,
our existance is something that just happened.
No one knows why.
But science is working to figure it out.
Our existance is so small compared to the rest of the universe.
We are a fraction of a speck in the whole scheme of things.
If there really is a God, he'd be sure to make sure his "children" were taken care of.
No tried and tested through unnessicary things.
Not to ammount to a mere speck in the universe.
If God really were real, he would come and prove his existance to me right now. But he is not real. The devil is not real. Heaven and hell aren't real.
When you die,
you decompose and go back into the ground to become other things.
Its sad to think that matter is all we ammount to.
And maybe that is why we think there is a God.
Because maybe somehow our human "souls" ammount to more in the end.
Yes it is weird that humans have a "soul"
but it is possible that a soul is something that we created to help us feel like we really do have a purpose.
But we don't have a purpose in the grand plan of the universe.
Nothing does.
It just happened.
Science will eventually uncover the mystery of where things came from and why we are here.
But until then we can only have faith or knowledge.
I chose to believe in my brain the proven facts.
