What does it mean to you to live IN Christ?

Are you Courageous?

Do you seek Justice? Love mercy?

Do you take your stand in the war of the mind? In the battle of the heart and the battle of the hand, are you a watcher or a warrior?

Do you stand in the sidelines as the wolves devour the flock?

As the darkness seeks to put out the lights and build strongholds and plant tares in the lives of young believers?

Are you a Man of God or are you just a hireling?

Are your hands clean?

Do you hear God's voice when HE tells you to MOVE and DO what HE MADE YOU to DO?

or do you sit around waiting for a sign a wonder another excuse to lie to yourself about who God really is? Who GOD made YOU to really BE?

Do you KNOW Jesus Christ as your LORD and Savior?

Or do you just mouth empty words?

Have you gone through the Test? Do you have a testimony about God's grace and mercy and Saving Grace?

Hebrews 12

The Race of Faith

1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. 11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

If you have not been Chastened and Scourged by the Lord, then you are NOT a child of GOD for you are illegitimate.

Good thread,

i just want to say i am healed from cancer and Jesus saved me from death so praise God for that.

miraculously i didn't die because the calling He has sent for me is yet far from finish.

ive been doing a study on truth vs deceptive teachings for over a year now, God put me through troubles as i grew and helped me to become a warrior I'm still learning though.

God rescued me from the lies and im forever grateful.

I might not be a man but I have learned the value God has for each and everyone He saves. The Love and care he took to make and save us all. As a child I was very sick and my adopted grandmother told me a few years she was surprised my growth and my mental functions were not stunted by my illness.

I know it is only through God's grace I am able to take a single breath or speak a word that contains any truth.

He taught me that there are worse things then death for with death of this flesh we will be called into Heaven to have eternal life with Him.

He gives the blessed assurance through His Holy Spirit that nothing and no one can harm us until we complete the task He has given us.

Through His love and mercy, I have learned to love and give mercy to those who are around me and to look past my feelings and initial reaction and to pray and seek His guidance when faced with the unknown.

Sometimes when fear tries to stop me in my tracks, I have to remind myself to pray and Trust in God's promises to stand and walk with Him and run the race God has given us.

I remember and am always grateful for those who come along side and give me that word of encouragement and love. It is like an energy bar that bread of Life that helps you get up and walk some more.

For I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

What does it mean to you to live IN Christ?

I suppose it will mean the same as it did for ALL who live in them, they will be persecuted, hated and even killed by the OTHER that think they live in Christ! The Bible says they will even kill the Truth preachers and think they DO GOD A SERVICE. How misled can a person be?

Many wars were started because it is God's children that start it. Like Bush and Iraq? Is that one I do not know. Is Bush Christian, and did he do it becasue of mass destruction weapons in Iraq, yet there was none! Are there still Americans there? Is there ANY war started by a GODLY Man? I do not know. I doubt it however.

I think to be IN CHRIST, is to be in a place or situation where GOD IS PLEASED wbout the situation ALL THE TIME! No matter what the situation is, God is WELL pleased with the "IN CHRIST" people. what ever it means for you!

When I see a thousand in the seats on Sunday and only 20 there to feed the Homeless from the same church, I lement that there are good men standing idly by and doing nothing. When i see a prayer meeting bible study of only 8 where their should be 80, I lement. I was a lost sould who felt the Spirit when I called out from the Darkness. Evil does indeed exist when good men do nothing. I cannot speak for them, but for me I shall Worship the Lord and help my fellow man. Thats all I can do for now, and it does not make me any better nor do I judge my brothers and sisters, for I can't and won't. I have my own heavy cross to dragg and carry up that hill. I am a sinner and humble servant of our Lord who struggles each day to repent and hopfully be a better man in his eyes. And I know i fall short but I am trying....Just my opinion

I'd like to be able to answer all those questions in a manner that would be pleasing to God...but I fear I fall short on too many.

Fortunately...God's grace covers me where I fail. Not that it should be an excuse not to keep on trying.

Let the Women of God arise too! Cuz...we can be just as awesome :D

when you approach God's throne with your sins and your regrets and your burdens with your hands grasped so tightly around the things you do not want and the hopes and dreams you cling to.

When you get to God's throne with all that you are. Remember to let go. Remember to open those fingers and release into God's loving hands everything that is you and trust in Him that HE will give you what He wishes for you to have.

Remember His words and promise:

Matthew 11:28-30
New King James Version (NKJV)
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
