According to the bible, the "spirit of prophecy" is the...
Great question!(y)

The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

In the 19th chapter of Revelation, John was mistakenly about to worship an angel which the angel corrected him and then said.....

Revelation 19:10
New King James Version

10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Jesus Christ fulfilled all the Law of Moses while on the Earth and is also fulfilling all that the Prophets have spoken or written. The testimony of everything that Jesus has done, is doing and will do is evidence that Jesus Christ is fulfilling all prophecy which fulfills the Father's Will in It's entirety.

Jesus Christ testifies of the Father and we testify of Jesus Christ because the Holy Spirit gives understanding and makes all the Father's Will and Jesus fulfilling the Father's Will known to us and the angels of heaven.(y)

You gave some great verses but, the particular verse I was looking for from Psalm 31 that describes the secret place of God is:

Psalm 31:19-21
New King James Version

19 Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You
In the presence of the sons of men!

20 You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence
From the plots of man
;
You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion
From the strife of tongues.

21 Blessed be the Lord,
For He has shown me His marvelous kindness in a strong city!

God's secret place is His Presence as a Pavilion where the plots of man and the strife of tongues cannot go nor enter.(y)

From Psalm 31
:)

Hello Beautiful Magenta!

Thank you for another amazing scripture panel. I love that the Lord is our Rock and Fortress....very stable and secure and safe when the enemy comes at us.

To be lead and guided by the Lord brings glory to His Name.

To truly know the Lord will cause us to have a holy fear of Him and He will extend His goodness to us and be a constant place of refuge for us.

We get to choose who and what we love....I choose to LOOOOOOOVE the Lord and to love Him faithfully - in the good times and the bad times.

My hope is in the Lord, He causes me to be strong and courageous because He is strong and courageous on by behalf!! Amen.

Thank you, lovely lady Lafftur! Hmmm, I am trying to think of a question :giggle:

I thought I had one related to Revelation 22, where the angel is addressing John and telling him not to worship him, saying he is just a servant as John is... because the angel goes on to say after that, “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." He does say more, and it seemed to me at first the angel was saying those things about himself, but on closer inspection it is a quote, so that eliminates my question, as the quote is obviously Jesus' words :)

Now we are in a little murky water. Surely the Lord has the ability to speak through angels.

Here's a tough question that will cause all of us to dig in the scriptures......

Q: What were the ten tests of the Israelites in the wilderness?

Here's an easy question....

Q: What is the name of the angel that told Mary should would have a baby boy and to name Him Jesus?

Last, here's an intermediate question....

Q: Was it Elijah or Elisha that threw a stick in the Jordan River that caused an ax head to float?

Correct! Great job @CS1!

2 Kings 6:1-7

King James Version

1 And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.
2 Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.
3 And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go.
4 So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.
5 But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.
6 And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.
7 Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.

Your turn, ask us a Bible Trivia question...(y)

So, I'm thinking Isaiah prophesied about the "Voice crying in the wilderness" and Malachi prophesied about God sending His messenger Elijah before that great and terrible day....

Isaiah 40:3-5

Malachi 4:5

Is the answer two times?

John the Baptist is who Jesus said The Prophet Isiah was speaking about.

both Isiah & Malachi WERE SPEAKING OF John the Baptist.
