Where did you come up with this strange idea? "To walk more like Christ" is in the Bible, and it is the opposite of having the focus on us.

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: ... Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; (1 Pet 2:21; 4:1)
To answer your question as to where I came up with such a thought. I have posted a new post just for you called...
Justification has not come about because of anything believers are capable of achieving on their own

They would have to be born with holy spirit to be able to get in heaven. Flesh and blood profited nothing.
I reiterate, the Bible neither confirms nor denies the existence of animals in Heaven but it does clearly state that God loves animals.

I reiterate. A body needs spirit to get in heaven. And unless animals are born with spirit unlike humans who are not born with spirit unless you're John the Baptist. Then there's no heaven for them. And this is written in the Bible.

“A body needs a spirit to get in Heaven.”
Where is that in scripture?

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

No such thing as being born without a spirit, the breath of life.

All of the living are given a God breathed spirit. By the father of spirits . Not all spirits are subject to salvation .Only the ones that were made in His image .(mankind)

The whole creation was corrupted and we are working out the wage of death, the letter of the law. The wrath being revealed from heaven (Romans 1) All spirits are subject to the temporal .

It was not your body will surely die. but your spirit will not . . . rather than the whole person .Body spirit and mind.

As sons of God we have the eternal Holy Spirit working in the earthen bodies of death . What we will be when we do receive our new incorruptible body .No one knows . No one has received that promise.

a person must die and his flesh return to the dust from where it was formed .Just add water instant clay needed to mold Christ in us in the image of our Savior. Just like any beast of the field. Flesh and blood. . . it will not enter the new order.

And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. Hebrews 11: 39 -40

Man; no mention of animals needing to be born again to enter the Kingdom of God.

The Bible does not talk much about "a spirit" but rather "spirit" or "the spirit" and we are not born with it or Romans 8 would make no sense where it is written in verse 9

"Now if any man have not the spirit of Christ, he is none of his."

And that includes dogs. The spirit of God and the soul that we have which is breath life are not the same.

What promise was not received but viewed by faith (the unseen)? What kind of body will they be? Male? Female ? Jew? Gentile?

And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. Hebrew 11:39=40

The spiritual body is a body belonging to the spiritual realm that will be influenced by or proceeding from what is spiritual. How glorious and awesome that is! How magnificent and unlimited in scope and activity that new body will be. We shall be LIKE HIM with a body that will be spirit eternal, vivacious, and remarkable. Just think how incredible our physical senses will be at that time, unaffected by a contaminated bloodstream, and completely laced with and based upon a life-quickening spirit.

The Spirit of Christ that dwelt in the Son of man, Jesus? Eternal Spirit or temporal flesh?

Dogs like angels are not subject to salvation Angels long to look into the gospel . Dogs bark at the moon . Mankind is subject to the gospel . All dogs go to another kind of heaven

I would offer. A body cannot become a eternal Spirit .And eternal Spirit has no body . No such thing as holiness of the flesh ("no power) .Holiness of Spirit (power) Yes

You said a body needs a spirit to get in heaven. Rather than a spirit needs a spirit to move. Jesus said his flesh profits for zero .He came as a Spirit and left as one . Supernatural without beginning and end.

Matthew 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

I am one of the most knowledgeable guys on the planet concerning the resurrected Christ. How did I fail to support biblical concepts? Perhaps it was just not understood when I did.
