If the shoe fits?

You cannot refute my words they are truth nothing more!

One who is of tender age should not be so hasty in rebuke of one old enough to be their father without knowing all the angles!

I forgive you though.
This young man has more smarts than you ever will.

Ok I see some who answering for children who accepted Christ. There is scripture. God calls everyone. Not everyone comes to him. There's lots of people who say at 4 they received Christ.

Now a days they say the children know much more than they used to. God knows on TV alone there minds can be perverted. They are seeing things I never seen. Kids know stuff now I didn't know when I was in my 20's.

I can't stand to think of this. I always thought kids just went to heaven.

Not sure we can really say one way or another, but King David sure seemed to think that his child was going to be where he was.

"David replies, "While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, 'Who knows, the LORD may be gracious to me, that the child may live.' But now he has died; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me (2 Sam. 12:22-23)." The text seems to imply that the child went to heaven since David says, "I will go to him, but he will not return to me" and elsewhere Scripture indicates that David went to heaven (Ps. 16:10-11; Heb. 11:32-33).
that is a great scripture that shows that David a man after God's own heart understood that babies do NOT go to hell but heaven.

Matthew 19:14 (NIV)
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
This was the exact verse I thought of when I read the title. Thank you for typing it out for me! :p

Is this a game to see who can come up with the most shocking thread title?

Almost as bad as All Christians must DIE!!!!!
Lol I know, right?

Anyways, why would little children go to hell? Seriously...why would 4-5 year olds go to hell? They never made the decision to reject Jesus. And ESPECIALLY not babies. I'm not sure about 8+...but I wouldn't think that they'd go to hell.

Little children are of the kingdom of God, but unfortunately there are children as young as 8 yrs old in juvinile prisons for murder and other herendious crimes,we have a prison here and an 8 year old murdered his parents,it is our society or parenting skills to be questioned, children are not being taught right from wrong or any morals

lol this made me laugh

Anyway, regarding the thread... I don't usually think about this subject. However, it begs the obvious question- are we BORN evil and sinful or do we become that way later?
Born evil, probably not, but born sinful, yes. At least thats the case if you believe in original sin, meaning that we all inherited Adam's original sin.

There is one verse in the Bible that you people need to consider. There is even holy and unclean children in this world... There is two types of children, and I did not write these words, Paul did. I only believe this!
The Word says holy children are born holy beause at least one of the two parents are a believer. But what if none of the pearents are a believer? Then the Bible says those children are "UNCLEAN" and you must figure it out yourselves what the differance is.
Here is the verse... 1 Cor 7:15... For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

I remember reading this verse as well, and have considered it for some time.
Ones faith and hope for children is as Jesus spoke to, but one has to consider the scripture Paul wrote.
But one thing stands out to me, is all are souls, and our faith, hope and love in Jesus, the witness we are called to, is that none should be lost, wether child or adult.

in Jesus, God bless.

why does Paul not continue to talk about Saving children if there really is a need? why would the children be unclean? How are they made Holy? Does not Jesus blood washes all clean? it talks about how the spouse who is an unbeliever might be sanctified and saved by the faith of the believer for it is told in other verses not to be unequally yoked and if this was NOT true then light would be married to darkness. instead those verses say they are both made clean by the faith of one and thus the children can be raised in that light.

1 Corinthians 7

10 Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband. 11 But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife.
12 But to the rest I, not the Lord, say: If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is willing to live with him, let him not divorce her. 13 And a woman who has a husband who does not believe, if he is willing to live with her, let her not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy. 15 But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace. 16 For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife?

I believe that baby's can see angels, and before they can talk, we do not know what kind of a relationship they may already have with God. For all we know Babies have a better understanding of Jesus than we do. I would have to agree with Ace, its all in Gods hands, but I have no doubts that God spares the little ones.
Uhhhh....What?

God's and His angels.

I was the first Christian in my family.

Hebrews 1
14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?

Romans 2:14-15
New King James Version (NKJV)
14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)

that is a great scripture that shows that David a man after God's own heart understood that babies do NOT go to hell but heaven.

I thought this all about the baby died because of Davids evil sin. A baby who can't talk an all still has nothing to do with a child at age of knowing right from wrong which some say is 7 years old.
