I usually wouldn't post this on a christian message board, because I realize that Christians aren't usually very practical. And I'm not knocking anyone. I know that christians are supposed to do everything by the book. But sometimes, you don't want to hear bible quotes... I'm going to stop claimin the title "christian". I'm not even saved. Because the bible says that G-d's sheep hear His voice." And the reality is, I've never heard G-d's voice. People can tell me that I hear G-d or know Him or whatever. But the truth is, if I don't know that I've heard or felt G-d, then as far as I'm concerned, I haven't heard or felt HIm. I have something I want to say, but I know that I'll probably either be threatened with hellfire and brimstone or told that I need to read the bible--all which may be true. But if anyone feels that they can give me some practical advice on a personal matter, without cynicism, you can send me a message in my inbox. I'm not looking for pity or anything. I have brought it up on other message boards that are none christian. I just thought that maybe I would be able to talk about the matter in a christian atmosphere. But I can understand if no one wants to do that.

Fire7,

Writing things here is so different than hearing ones voice speak. It gives a different flavor you could say to what that person is like. So, these typed words are dull but just wish you could hear us instead. Wish I could just touch you on the shoulder. No words there. The greatest thing sometimes is just the ministry of touch. Sometimes just having another ear for us to speak to. Sometimes all this is missing from a chat. Will keep you in my thoughts. That is what everyone here needs to do at this time for you. Okay?

Fire7, I know the lonelyness you speak to, a lonelyness so deep and great that the heart within would be numb, if the pain of separation was not so great.
I hope this witness in Jesus will bring you to choose the faith that will bring the hope and love in Jesus you seek.
It is in this, you will come to know God Our Fathers voice.
God is speaking to you in Jesus always, it is in faith, that one hears.
I know the words seem repetitive, and heard before, but this is said because the truth is in them.
I struggled for a long time beliving that I was worth loving, that I had to have some value in order to be seen or wanted.
I wanted some sign, or proof, anything that would convince and heal the ache in my heart.
Bring an end to the lonelyness that filled my every thought and days.
I had always believed in God,, Jesus , the Holy Spirit.
But for many reasons, I did not believe that any wanted my company, or could love me.
It took time for Jesus to bring me to the place where I saw that I had to believe in the presance and love that was already given.
Mostly because , as I said, I thought I had to bring value.
Finnally , I chose to believe in this love , without seeing.
This was the turning point in faith.
There were many gifts that were given, but the greatest was recieving that in Jesus, God Our Father loved me , not because of what I brought, or did not bring.
That God Our Father loves you without you being , bringing anything to Him, and in Jesus, God Our Father removed all sin that might make you think you could not be loved.
I call it naked before God, this is exactly how God Our Father loves you .
Also, when you ask and come before God Our Father in Jesus, you must be willing to set ones self aside.
Another set of words that are often said.
But this is the key that allows you to open your heart and ears to God's voice .
You see, Jesus is already waiting at the door, you just need to open it.
This means accepting and givng everything, (even the things you wish were not in your life), in trust to God in Jesus Christ Our Lord!
Doing this in faith, with praise and thanksgiving!
I know all seems like alot, but it is in this, that you open the door in your heart to Jesus, thus bringing the presance of God Our Father to your life.
I know the pain of lonelyness is great, but Jesus spoke and told a parable about those that have so much pain or sin, that the mesure of His love would be even greater, and your heart will be filled with the love and a joy so great, you will be dazzled.
One chooses to believe, Jesus brings the rest.
Sometimes some things will take time, but this is simply because everything God does, is done perfectly and in healing.
Also, if one wants to truelly know love, the best way is by in Jesus, loving others.
It is not about the things you think you should have, it is about the faith, hope and love in Jesus, to live through anything in ones life!
My prayers are with you in Jesus, that you will know this faith, hope and love.

God bless.

Two things help me avoid loneliness. First, we are never alone—the Lord is always with us. Second, it is very helpful for me to have a church family.
