Palagius argued since Augustine claimed faith alone then he postulated faith is a good thing therefore you move first. Augustine then says ok faith has to given first. problem solved.
Faith’s mama is Grace.

Id argue that you have a gnostic understanding of that verse lol 😆
Did Paul say the things of the Spirit cannot be known by the natural man? I thought I saw that there in that verse.

Define the word “know” as it is used in 1 Cor. 2:14. If you dare...
How about ' the things ' ? then read verse 6 and 15 .And the beginning of chapter 3 . Miss that and you will struggle to unsee the calvinistic interpretation

Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you but the Father has revealed it.

Unto you is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom, but to them it is not given.

I thank you Father that you have hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them to babes

After we believe . Not before The calvinist claim is that the natural man is a unregenerated person who cannot believe the Gospel.
So the regenerate do have knowledge that the unregenerate cannot know ( until they be regenerated? ). There is knowledge that a spiritual man possesses that a natural man cannot possess?

Because you called this concept gnostic earlier.

But the Gospel is not that knowledge .
But it is knowledge held only by the regenerate. And in post 473, you insinuated that was a gnostic concept. So you’re definitely painting with a very broad brush, and are going way outside the lines.

The point is that ONLY a chosen few that have been determined can and will know

You said that the concept of having knowledge that others cannot have in their natural state is gnostic. Yet Paul said the spiritual man holds knowledge that the natural man cannot know or discern

So either you are wrong or Paul is a gnostic.
