Q1. How many baptisms should you receive?

Q2. Which baptism should you receive, John's or Jesus'?

Sorry, I thought when I said this it answered how many baptism there are.

"I was baptized in JESUS name to get rid of my sins.
JESUS filled me with his spirit and spoke in tongues and still do."

Two one WE are responsible for, the other JESUS does.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Why would you ask if we are suppose to be baptized under John?

Trying to understand, why do you use the word regeneration?

What is "regeneration" birth?

When we are baptized in the Spirit we are regenerated??
So you are saying we are to be baptized twice and we are to do one of them ourselves?

We are today (regenerated when we are baptized) but no-one was baptized in the Spirit until Pentecost so believers were regenerated prior to Pentecost without the baptism in the Spirit. Regeneration and baptism are two separate things.

HIS WORD SAYS THIS,

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be (((baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins)))), and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 3:11 I indeed (((baptize you with water unto repentance)))). but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall ((((baptize you with the Holy Ghost)))), and with fire:

I am saying what HIS word says, WE have to be baptized in JESUS name to get rid of our sins, HE baptizes us with HIS SPIRIT.

I really trying to understand what you mean, so breaking down you statement.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
1. We are today (regenerated when we are baptized),

THIS IS BIBLE.
2. but no-one was baptized in the Spirit until Pentecost,

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
3. so believers were regenerated prior to Pentecost without the baptism in the Spirit,

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
4. Regeneration and baptism are two separate things.

Thank you.

I am saying what HIS word says,
What you said was the following which doesn't even make sense but I translated it as there being two baptisms of which we are responsible for one. If that is the case, then you are not saying what His word says for His word says there is one baptism, not two.

Two one WE are responsible for, the other JESUS does.
You keep treating being baptized in Jesus name and being baptized with the Holy Spirit as if they are two different baptisms, they are not. We know they are not because there is only one baptism.

Ephesians 4:5
one Lord, one faith, one baptism;

His name is representative of who He is and what He has done on our behalf. He is baptizing us into Himself, into His death and His life and He does this by baptizing us with the Holy Spirit. We are immersed into Christ by the Holy Spirit.

Romans 6:3
Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
4. Regeneration and baptism are two separate things.
Exactly what it says. Regeneration is going from being spiritually dead to being spiritually alive (born again) and being baptized with the Spirit is to be put into Christ. Two different things. Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, the Prophets, King David, John the Baptist, none of these saints were in Christ but they were all born again and as such were able to perceive the Kingdom to varying degrees. To anyone not born again the Kingdom is foolishness.

1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

You seem to be under the impression (based on what you have said before) that being born again and being baptized in the Spirit are the same thing. Why would Christ have told Nicodemus that he must be born again and that as a teacher of the Law, he should know that, when being baptized in the Spirit was something not heard of before? Nicodemus should have known about regeneration based on the OT only.

What do you think of this.

When we get baptized in JESUS name to get rid of our sins. We go INTO HIM.

Romans 6 is referring to being baptized in JESUS name, WE DO.
Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

When HE fills us with HIS SPIRIT HE comes INTO US.

1 John 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

AND HE is US because he hath given us of his Spirit!!

Two different things, don't care if someone uses the word baptized or not. Two different things.

This is what happens when JESUS COMES IN TO US.
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Has JESUS came in you like he came in his disciples?

Do you think we have to be baptized in JESUS name to get rid of our sins?

I guess the question is who did JESUS die for? The whole world or Israel?

Be great if you could you could provide scripture showing the what is the difference between the Kingdom of GOD and the Kingdom of Heaven.
Hi
The real question is: What does the Bible scripture say?

This is what it says: He came unto His own, and His own did not accept Him. The nation of Israel rejected Jesus Christ as Their Saviour. It was not until after His Death on The Cross, that all people of This world were offered spiritual salvation through His death. That is why the Apostle Paul was select on His way to kill Jews, that HE was approached and sent to give the spiritual message TO ALL.
When people take what was written only to Isreal, and apply It to themselves, They, had better be ready to accept what goes with It!
It is very sad to

It is very sad that so many do not: "Rightly divide the word of truth" .One reaps what They sow! Do Y9u desire to be under The Law Of Israel, or under The Grace of God? The choice is with each individual!

This One has chosen to walk in Grace, and not under The Law of Israel!

Please read: Romans 1:1 1 Cor. 1 2 Cor.: And others that Paul wrote. You will see that Paul was chosen to take the Message Of Spiritual salvation to The World. Before that event, Only Isael had been delt with spiritually.

What do you think, both of these say the same thing?

Acts 2:38-39
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Paul app 20 years plus after Acts 2.

Acts 19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

What do you think of this.
I've told you what I think.

Two different things, don't care if someone uses the word baptized or not. Two different things.
If you don't care whether your opinion lines up with God's word, that's on you. One baptism, not two. To be baptized into Christ is to be baptized with the Spirit.

Have a nice day.

Can only plant so many seeds, you also.

Keep in mind sin will not enter Heaven, if you haven't been baptized in JESUS name you have all of them you were born with and those you have done yourself.

Like I said before, are you planting seeds or weeds? You can't even acknowledge there is only one baptism, you still insist there are two and worse, you claim one of them we must do ourselves?

So much for salvation being not of our works.

I have already told you I have been baptized into Christ. I suggest you pay more attention to your own salvation.

Have a good one.

Back that up how we get rid of our sins with scripture. I don't trust any human with my life.

HOW DO WE GET RID OF OUR SINS????
Why don't you ever respond to the things I say? You have not refuted a word I've said. All you do is repeat your time worn phrases.

Why don't you explain how you baptize yourself into Christ? His name is His person and you claim we are responsible for this baptism. Show us how in detail and not just with platitudes.

do they say this?

Zechariah 3:8-9
'Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, you and your companions who sit before you, for they are a wondrous sign; for behold, I am bringing forth My Servant THE BRANCH.
For behold, THE STONE that I have laid before Joshua: upon the stone seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave its inscription,'
Says The LORD of Hosts,
'and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.'
