Of course it is more complex. Christ's humanity is unlike anything we can experience.
Christ's humanity is unlike anything since Adam's. Completely sinless.

but bro we will experience this - He has redeemed us, and all we wait for is His appearing, and our bodies will be made whole, free of all the corruption that remains in them :)

or He sang a song of Israel while He hung on the cross taking her place, one that every single Israelite there knew was a lament of the consequences of their unbelief and unfaithfulness and a celebration of the unfailing lovingkindness of their God, Who was right there in full view of them all, totally not forsaking them.

bro it is A LOT more than you think, if you think God forsook Himself.
So now you know everything I think?

Strewth! There's one in every crowd.

But hey! Always look on the bright side of life, right? Nothing like a good sing song while you're being tortured.

Christ was forsaken for three hours while our sin was on Him. He was not utterly forsaken forever. Once our sins were dealt with, He was restored to fellowship because He had no sin of His own.

God the Father was not forsaking His Christ, He was forsaking us in Christ. We, all humanity, were finally receiving the true penalty for our sin and Jesus was the One bearing it.
Christ is God

2 Timothy 2:13
He cannot deny Himself.
Isaiah 53:4
Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.

please Notice Isaiah says we thought He was smitten by God, the implication being that we were dead wrong about that.

Huh?? Doesn't make me feel sorry. It fills me with complete awe and wonder.
Really.

Poor Jesus, forsaken.
How pitiful.
Remember how much God suffered for you, poor God.
Be a better person. tithe.

i bet that is exactly the theme of every Ishtar sermon you have heard for the last 20 years.

tell me more about the awe you feel considering God forsaking Himself.. ?

or is it awe that this very nice man was without cause completely forsaken by God for a couple hours?

if you drop His deity, the cross is powerless to save.
if you remember His deity, it is impossible that He is forsaken even for 1 millisecond.

don't mean to be rude.
there's more here than you think!

He had 'see?' And? Spoken with his wife?

Translate. please?

Eve remained physically alive after she ate.

Please? Make sense?
God told him, "because you listened to the voice of your wife"

clearly they spoke after she ate.

at the time of that conversation:

she had sinned. she was separated from the presence of God, and he had not sinned, and was not separated from His presence.
she had been deceived, and he had not, and was not.
she had eaten poison
he had not.

what do you think she said to him?

OK... I see you are someone who believes that Jesus is only one nature - God?

Not, humanity, and Deity, in union?
No,

but His humanity is not at the expense of His deity.

Jesus Christ is never not God.
He is always God.

It was that thinking that got us into this mess in the first place. ;)

Christ's humanity is united to His Deity in a way you and I will never experience. We will not be God.

if we will never experience sinless humanity there is no such thing as salvation.

you don't have to be God to be pre-fall Adam.

i believe fully in the hypostatic union.

what i do not believe in is a version of it in which He must be stripped of deity in order to add humanity to Himself.

there is no kenosis - He set aside His glory, the train that filled the temple, not His divine power or personhood. what He emptied Himself of was perogative, taking instead the humble form of a servant.

you are a wise friend, i trust this make sense?

There can always be more to a story, doesn't necessarily mean the more is correct.

What I bolded is your opinion but I disagree.

Only humanity could die for humanity and only God could save. It is not impossible for the function of His Deity and humanity to work separately otherwise Jesus would have lied when He said "He did not know the day". As God, He knew. He was perfectly able to keep the function of His His Deity separate from His humanity. If it were not so, He could not have died.

Jesus would have lied when He said "He did not know the day".
standard Hebrew betrothal ceremony language.

the Groom defers all questions about the timing of the snatching away of the Bride to the Father.

Peter did not lie when he said "LORD You know all things"

Jesus experienced what spiritual death is truly like, to be utterly forsaken by God. Even though we are born spiritually dead, we have never been truly forsaken by God. He seeks us from the moment we are born. It was the Lord in the Garden who went looking for Adam after he sinned. If Adam had to bear the full weight of what he did, the Lord should never have sought for him or made sacrifice to cover him. Adam should have been utterly forsaken and left to his own means but he wasn't.

For the three hours Christ had our sins laid on Him, He was utterly cast off from God with no help whatsoever from God to endure the torture.
Good point. Yet, I do not believe dead spiritually. Physically< yes. For he went and preached to the spirits in prison. Held there by evil. Whom lost the keys evil had at that time to Jesus, upon the resurrection
Rev 1 he has the keys to Heaven and Hell now. Took them When resurrected. They were alive spirits, held there captive, waiting for God’s Messiah, known now as Jesus our Lord unto his Lord
Adam the first died spiritually to God, yet spiritually alive to the flesh. Dead to God. Which is why no flesh but Son’s flesh could and did please God.
‘Evil is still out and about Spiritually alive, playing God
there be dead to self, Romans 6, Phil 3. To becalive to God
what keeps people in unbelief totally is lust of the flesh of this world, lust of the eyes and the pride of life
asking myself, am I< are you willing to die?
thanks hope to have shown you God’s truth over all flesh and blood nature

Only humanity could die for humanity and only God could save.
no mere man can by their death make atonement for the sins of the world.
if this were the case the cross is human sacrifice, like to Molech, which is detestable. you might as well say Christianity is Baal worship.

If He is ONLY God?
And, not also humanity, which is in a unique union with God?

If he's only God?
Then He is all knowing, and has no need to learn anything.

Correct?
