Love is patient.

God is greater than I am. His love is perfect. I am weak, but he is strong. But he his my strength. He is my joy. The Lord chooses the times, and he sends the seasons.

Let's not grow weary in well doing. I do say weary in WELL doing. Because the Lord looks down on this whole world. His eyes try everything. I want to tell you how to be perfect.

It was written that anyone who does not keep the law is guilty of transgressing the whole law, which penalty is death. This was so that all men could become guilty, and so that the grace through Jesus Christ would abound to the glory of the Father. So our love can only be made perfect through him, who teaches us the ways of God, so that we can be in his image, as we have strayed away from that perfect imagee in sin. He is reconciling us to him in this way, and he is making us perfect through him, and obedience to him.

If you want to be perfect, seek love. Not love as men define it, but love as in how Jesus displayed it. If you want to be righteous, seek love. The law cannot judge love out of a pure heart. Jesus Christ teaches love. He teaches us faith, and he teaches us hope in him.

This is the root of the gospel.

Many people are defaming Jesus calling themselves Christian but not displaying the character of God. Yet, God is patient. Look and see. What is the end of it all? Offense.

You have heard that the hearts of many will grow cold as iniquity grows. I tell you the truth, iniquity is abounding and the hearts of many are waxing cold. But God is patient.

It is for his glory that iniquity abounds, so that grace will show to be more powerful than iniquity. Not to say that you should sin so that God's grace can look better. That is silliness.
But if offense increases, the salvation from offense will be more glorious. So the day of the Lord's return will be VERY glorious.

As the world turns to iniquity, sin will increase, and hatred will increase. At the same time, the Lord is calling his own out of darkness into the light. And the day of the Lord gets closer and closer. Jesus has spoken about these times, the prophets have spoken about these times. You have heard about these times. We have to be separated. Anyone that loves this life will certainly loose it. It is just as simple as it was said, not to be interpreted because of doubt.

Why hasn't the Lord consumed all this world? Because God is patient.

And we should be patient also. Doing our work out of love and honor to God, so that we will be found blameless. What would God have against you if when he came he found in you a pure heart of love, and obedience to his son Jesus Christ. Again, not love as men define it, but love as in how Jesus displayed it. So now we see who is in Christ, by the love they show IN OBEDIENCE to Jesus, fleeing iniquity.

But those who love iniquity will die. This is the truth.

Flee iniquity and follow after charity. Perhaps you will be spared in the days to come. Have faith, so Jesus will come and find you having faith, and so that the Lord will be pleased.

May Jesus bless you.

Good words Ramon!
Too often one feels that they are the only one to remove all sin from one's life.
Lately, Ive struggled with the self condemnation of something I know I need to give up to Jesus.
In tears I cried each night, because I did not know how to do this.
Then I remebered the story Jesus told about the house that had a evil spirit in it, how the house was cleaned and the evil spirit removed.
But a while later, the evil spirit remembered the house, and returned, bringing even more evil spirits with it, and took up the house again.
I realised that the reason the evil spirit returned, was because the housse was only cleaned, but it was known by the evil spirit that it was still empty.

You see, if one simply removes a sin from their life, one will fail even more later, simply because removing the sin is not what is needed.
One must let Jesus drive the sin out, bringing His presance to fill that place, so that the sin knows, there is no place for it to return to.
Jesus fills all these places, by driving sin out, and placing His presance in us.
We cannot do anything with out Jesus, He does everything in us.
We need to simply be willing, and obedient in faith and love to recieve from Jesus .
Filling all of ones self with Jesus!
Patiently Jesus does this in each of us because of His love, the love of the Father!

Thankyou for this post Ramon. :)
in Jesus, God bless.

I am struck by the things you've spoken of with power, that caused Pickles to share the humbling of Christ's work in a type of love and a type of patience that over-comes even most difficult of circumstances.

The larger part of my life was a perpetual fall into the depths of sin. Daily I give witness of this patience you speak of, because today I understand our Heavenly Father desires that none should perish. Who among us has demonstrated this powerful gift, this great treasure, as God's Son shared with each of us on a personal plain.

Thank you

I have not read this before, only right now!

You see this is what a group of honest SEEKERS accomplish. The love they share in UNITY is the POWER of repentance. Repentance only has power when the sin repented from is replaced by LOVE FROM ABOVE! Love Jesus puts in our hearts to SHARE, not GIVE, SHARE with Pickles, Ramon, Yaright, and Cobus. And becasue that Love comes form JESUS HIMSLEF, it is pure and the reward is (BLAMELESS) hearts!

As we share our sins (confessions and repentance) and get rid of them, and we immediately place love and unity in that empty clean space, so we are all four, ten, hundred million, no matter the amount, we are ALL cleansed for HIS GLORY! and when He edifies us with HIS BODY, The moment the unity is established then the hearts of the SAINTS will be occupied 100% with the LOVE OF JESUS!

That heart is as pure as Jesus, and holy as Jesus, and as perfect as Jesus. This is the few verses that spells it out so definate! James 1:2 to 4... My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Jas 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Jas 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

How many of us count it joy when we fall into divers temptations, but then we do not stand up in it, we bcome guilty becasue we fell! If we see it as a trying of out faith, we know we need some more FAITH, but before the faith we need the patience. The TRYING of our faith worketh PATIENCE and the PATIENCE worketh perfection!

This is what we talked about, just now... As we are patient to help eachother repent from sin, we try ourselves, and see that the faith in us needs to still be perfected. So we fall into temptaions, and we find that some just does not have any effect in us anymore... Like Smoking cigarettes for me, I just have NO LUST for it. In fact I truly hate the burning of the eyes and lungs, the smell, it stinks, also how it looks and what it does to the people that breaths in that poluted air. So I really have no interest in smoking any more. And so does ALL temptations try our faith, and soon no temptation is a trial anymore!!! Then!!! We will LACK NOTHING!!!!

I was considering that parable again and wondered about its comparison to the OT scriptures, when God was giving the promised land to the Isrialites.
I cannot quote it , but I recall God speaking to telling His people to wait for Him to push out all the bad that was in these lands first, moving is slowly so as God crushed and removed the bad, His people would fill that land before moving in more.
So that it would be established as His holy land given to His people.
Is there a comparison here? Just wanted to know if it is another example of His presance taking that which was corrupt, and establishing it holy, by His presance?

God bless.
