Love is patient.
God is greater than I am. His love is perfect. I am weak, but he is strong. But he his my strength. He is my joy. The Lord chooses the times, and he sends the seasons.
Let's not grow weary in well doing. I do say weary in WELL doing. Because the Lord looks down on this whole world. His eyes try everything. I want to tell you how to be perfect.
It was written that anyone who does not keep the law is guilty of transgressing the whole law, which penalty is death. This was so that all men could become guilty, and so that the grace through Jesus Christ would abound to the glory of the Father. So our love can only be made perfect through him, who teaches us the ways of God, so that we can be in his image, as we have strayed away from that perfect imagee in sin. He is reconciling us to him in this way, and he is making us perfect through him, and obedience to him.
If you want to be perfect, seek love. Not love as men define it, but love as in how Jesus displayed it. If you want to be righteous, seek love. The law cannot judge love out of a pure heart. Jesus Christ teaches love. He teaches us faith, and he teaches us hope in him.
This is the root of the gospel.
Many people are defaming Jesus calling themselves Christian but not displaying the character of God. Yet, God is patient. Look and see. What is the end of it all? Offense.
You have heard that the hearts of many will grow cold as iniquity grows. I tell you the truth, iniquity is abounding and the hearts of many are waxing cold. But God is patient.
It is for his glory that iniquity abounds, so that grace will show to be more powerful than iniquity. Not to say that you should sin so that God's grace can look better. That is silliness.
But if offense increases, the salvation from offense will be more glorious. So the day of the Lord's return will be VERY glorious.
As the world turns to iniquity, sin will increase, and hatred will increase. At the same time, the Lord is calling his own out of darkness into the light. And the day of the Lord gets closer and closer. Jesus has spoken about these times, the prophets have spoken about these times. You have heard about these times. We have to be separated. Anyone that loves this life will certainly loose it. It is just as simple as it was said, not to be interpreted because of doubt.
Why hasn't the Lord consumed all this world? Because God is patient.
And we should be patient also. Doing our work out of love and honor to God, so that we will be found blameless. What would God have against you if when he came he found in you a pure heart of love, and obedience to his son Jesus Christ. Again, not love as men define it, but love as in how Jesus displayed it. So now we see who is in Christ, by the love they show IN OBEDIENCE to Jesus, fleeing iniquity.
But those who love iniquity will die. This is the truth.
Flee iniquity and follow after charity. Perhaps you will be spared in the days to come. Have faith, so Jesus will come and find you having faith, and so that the Lord will be pleased.
May Jesus bless you.
