[h=3]4. Summary[/h]Here's a summary of all materials mentioned above.

The calendar used in the Bible starts around Spring time which is in the time period of late March to early April.

Knowing when the Biblical year starts, we see how King David divided up the priests office during his time. When Zacharias became priest, he served in the stead or in the same month of Abija (or Abia - which is called in the New Testament). This month was around early July (being the late 4th month of the Bible calendar).

Mary became pregnant 6 months after John was conceived. This will make Jesus 6 months younger than John the Baptist. Six months after John was conceived will be around the time of early January (being the late 10th month in the Bible calendar).

A normal pregnancy will last for 9 months. Nine months after Jesus was conceived will be around the time of early October (being the late 7th month in the Bible calendar).

Our modern day calendar is not accurate because of so many modifications, but it gives us an idea of the time when JESUS was born, which was around early October.

A random question:

Why do dogs have tails?

Since I asked a random question, I guess you will have no issue with that..... :)

I'm not posting more then this . I wanted to keep the thread simple and to the point for new people, like myself also, who are still learning. Everything I posted are facts . But here are some more details about Abia Luked talked about In Luke 1:5

Notes from the Companion Bible :

Luke 1:5

Abia is the eighth of the priestly courses of ministration in the Temple (1 Chronicles 24:10), and occurred, as did the others, twice in the year.

The "Courses"were changed every week, beginning each with a Sabbath. The reckoning commenced on the 22nd day of Tisri or Ethanim (Appendix 51. 5). This was the eighth and last day of the Feast of Tabernacles = the "Great Day of the Feast" (John 7:37), and was a Sabbath (Leviticus 23:39).

The first course fell by lot to Jehoiarib, and the eighth to Abia or Abijah (1 Chronicles 24:10).

Bearing in mind that all the courses served together at the three Great Feasts, the dates for the two yearly "ministrations" of Abiah will be seen to fall as follows:

The first 9 ministration was from 12-18 Chisleu = December 6-12.

The second ministration was from 12-18 Sivan = June 13-19.

The announcement therefore to Zacharias in the Temple as to the conception of John the Baptist took place between 12-18 SIVAN (June 13-19), in the year 5 B.C. After finishing his "ministration", the aged priest "departed to his own house" (Luke 1:23), which was in a city10 in "the hill country" of Juda (verse 39).

The day following the end of the "Course of Abia" being a Sabbath (Sivan 19), he would not be able to leave Jerusalem before the 20th.

My post wasn't aimed at you, Isdaniel. You posted at the exact same time as me. It's aimed at others in this thread. And yes, I'm not the real Tintin.

I tricked Tintin into wearing a mind controlling Santa claws hat. I get him to like my post, via remote control candy cane antenna . This gives me the ability to have him like my post; but it only works occasionally.

So, its not full proof .

I didn't insult anyone, I just call it like I see it. Also, I've never believed in Santa. Good try.

So typical. Now I have a chip because you said All should observe Christmas.

I would consider what you said to be more descriptive of groups then name calling. Not specifically said to anyone, but some people consider saying, 'brown bag' offensive. But, sometimes a bag which is brown is a brown bag......
