Ch 10
He gave his followers power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, to heal all kinds of sicknesses and all kinds of diseases. Go not to the Gentiles or the Samaritans. We are to go to the Jews first and then to the gentiles. Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. The blood of the new covenant is how the gentiles are brought into relations with God. Yeshua did heal gentiles but not many. The shaking of the dust of their feet shows the people are considered to be worthless. Matthew 10:16 I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as wise as snakes and as innocent as doves . He is sending us out among people who want to devour us. So we must be wise as snakes, snake protect their eye and watch all movement in their environment . Matthew 6:22-23 The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!. We need to keep watch with our spiritual eyes on any place Satan is trying to move in on our life. Then he gives us warnings about things we might come across. He encourages us not to fear but trust in GOD. We must fully summit to God’s plan for our life if we do not we will lose our life in the end.

Ch 11
Now when John, while imprisoned, heard of the works of Christ, he sent word by his disciples 3and said to Him, “Are You the Expected One, or shall we look for someone else?” 4Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and report to John what you see: 5 the blind receive sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6And blessed is he who does not take offense at Me Matthew 11:2-6. John was filled with the Spirit from birth, but he still had doubts. Was John discouraged because he was in prison or because Yeshua was not acting in the way he expected. Yeshua quotes from Isaiah the signs of the messiah. Then said blessed is he who is not offended because of me. It can be very hard to except God’s way of dealing with an issue we are facing . We must stay strong in our faith and Romans 8:28 know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Then he talks about John John’s strong faith . He did not falter in whatever came to him. Yeshua points out that John was not only a prophet but more then a prophet. Like John we must stay strong in all we are called to do. Matthew 11:12 From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. The Bible is full of the men of God being persecuted for God’s sake. The men of God acted with, great force they would not let the word of God be silenced, and sometimes with destructive force like with Moses and Elijah. Matthew 11:19 Wisdom is Justified by her children. 1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart. We must judge rightly use God’s word to see his movements around us. When we do this he teach us and it calms our soul come what may.

Chapter 16 This chapter begins with the Pharisees asking for a sign. Jesus says "A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign..." From this we learn that sinners want a sign. Which it can also be reasoned that the righteous would believe Jesus without a sign. I would guess that everyone reading this believes in Jesus and never saw a sign from Heaven. Next Jesus warns the disciples of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. We see that the disciples got it wrong at first but a little coaching by Jesus led them to the answer. Next Jesus ask who people say He is. The people thought Jesus was one of the Old Testament prophets. It makes me wonder what made them think Jesus was a dead man come back to life. Jesus then predicts His death and resurrection. Jesus knew He would die and rise again.

Ch 12
9-I7 find it comforting that Yeshua did healings on the Sabbath. He keeps reminding us there is a rest coming and we will be made whole. When Yeshua talks about the man and the sheep it reminds me that this same thing is going on in our time. I have heard many times on the news about something that would help people but it is not done because of some endangered species. If we really want to protect animals and people quit using pesticides and messing with the food supply. Then maybe the bees will stop dyeing. Why in any places does Yeshua tell them not to make him known.? This has always puzzled me.

22-37 The man controlled by demons who was blind and mute reminds me of all followers Yeshua before we come to him. When we don’t know Yeshua we can’t see because 2 Corinthians 4:4 Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don't understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. Once we are set free we see and also Speak. 2 Corinthians 4:13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE," we also believe, therefore we also speak.Matthew 12:25 He knew what they were thinking and said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. The constellation know asDraco, Serpent, or Hydra the water snake is the only constellation that is divided. Revelation 12:9 The great dragon was hurled down--that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. When the strong man Satan and his demons are loose from our lives through the Spirit of GOD. Then he is bound unable to work his lies in our life because we are now armed with the word of GOD. He has now made us a good tree with good fruit. We all speak what is stored in our heart. When we fill our heart and mind with his word we cannot help but reflect the Spirit of God back to him and to those around us. By this we give our Heavenly father glory in the sight of men.Matthew 5:16"Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

38 – 39 When you see who is asking for the sign it is disturbing. It is a religious teacher. This shows us we had better pay close attention as it is written2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth Matthew 12:39 He answered, "A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. This verse has always put fear into me, because when we ask for something long enough even though it is not good for us good lets us have it. Like when Israel wanted a King like the nations around them. He told them what would happen, but they wanted what they wanted so he gave it to them. The people will also be given this to test them.Matthew 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect if that were possible.Revelation 13:14 And with all the miracles he was allowed to perform on behalf of the first beast, he deceived all the people who belong to this world. He ordered the people to make a great statue of the first beast, who was fatally wounded and then came back to life.

Matthew 12:43-45 When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44 Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation. We need to make sure we abide in the word of GOD so when we are freed from any demonic influence or repetitive sin. The strong man is bound and kept from reentering our lives. Whatever that sin maybe but this verse comes to mind.Proverbs 19:19 A man of great anger will bear the penalty, For if you rescue him, you will only have to do it again.

Ch 13
11 The question of the parables can be summed up in this verse, 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. God uses symbolic language and all the meanings of the symbols can be found somewhere in his word. Isaiah 28:9-10 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, line upon line, here a little there a little. God says He scatters understanding on any given subject throughout the Bible, and our job is to seek it out. Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. Revelation 1:6 And has made us kings and priests to God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. If we do not study even what we think we understand will be taken from us,
because we did not seek out the truth. He said to them. Matthew 13:52 Therefore every teacher of the law who has been instructed about the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new Testament treasures as well as old testament treasures.

Ch 14
Matthew 14:3-8For Herod had laid hold of John and bound him, and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife. 4 Because John had said to him, “It is not lawful for you to have her.” 5 And although he wanted to put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.6 But when Herod’s birthday was celebrated, the daughter of Herodias danced before them and pleased Herod. 7 Therefore he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask.8 So she, having been prompted by her mother, said, “Give me John the Baptist’s head here on a platter. This shows how much influence a wife and mother has in the family to bring good or evil. Even Adam was willing to turn against GOD for the sake of his wife. 1 Timothy 2:14 it was not Adam who was deceived by Satan. The woman was deceived, and sin was the result. 1 Corinthians 7:16 Don't you wives realize that your husbands might be saved because of you? And don't you husbands realize that your wives might be saved because of you?

Matthew 14:9 The king was distressed, but because of his oaths and his dinner guests, he ordered that her request be granted. If we say we will do something for someone and their request is against GOD’s Laws we must not follow through. We honor God first then man. We must not let other people’s opinions stop us from doing what we know is right.Luke 12:47 That servant who knows his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows.

14:14 Yeshua filled with compassion healed those who were sick. This is a mixed multitude this shows God’s grace. Even with some of them not being believers he healed them.Romans 2:4Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance?

15 A deserted place ( a place without life ) The hour is late, Time is always important in the Bible. The disciples wanted to send them away to buy what was needed, just like the 5 wise virgins sent away the 5 foolish virgins. 1 Corinthians 1:30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, ]and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption. The disciples and the wise virgins have both studied to show themselves approved 2 Timothy 2:15. The foolish virgins did not study to show themselves approved and even at the time of the end want others to do the work they should have done. So they fell short of the gifts of GOD. But the wise virgins and disciples are 1 Corinthians 1:5-8 5that in everything YOU have been enriched in him, in full ability to speak and in full knowledge, 6even as the witness about the Christ has been rendered firm among YOU, 7so that YOU do not fall short in any gift at all, while YOU are eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ. 8He will also make YOU firm to the end. The hour is late but it is not the end so unlike the wise virgins, So for them it is Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. The virgins are at the time of the end so they are Micah 7:4-7 The best of them is like a brier; The most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge; The day of your watchman and your punishment comes; Now shall be their perplexity.5 Do not trust in a friend; Do not put your confidence in a companion; Guard the doors of your mouth From her who lies in your bosom.
6 For son dishonors father, Daughter rises against her mother,
Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; A man’s enemies are the men of his own household.
7 Therefore I will look to the Lord;I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.

19-20 They sat on green grass, Green is a color of life so even in this lifeless place Yeshua brings life.He broke the bread = he gave revelation to his disciples and they were to freely give it to the mix multitudes. So all who were there to receive were filled with the Spiritual food. 12 baskets full of the fragments were taken up. 12 number of foundation and nothing was lost. John 6:39 this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.

22-33 Yeshua then sends his disciples on ahead and he stays back. This is another test of their faith. He sent fishermen out in a boat so this is one thing they had a lot of experience in. The were tossed in the waves for the wind was contrary to them. This was an attack by Satan the prince of the power of the airEphesians 2:2. Yeshua came in the 4th watch of the night. He came when they knew this was something they could not get themselves out of. Peter saw the boisterous wind and he was afraid. We must never take our eyes off Yeshua when we are caught in one of the storms of life. If we do get overwhelmed all we have to do is cry out to Yeshua he is ready to catch us. When they got to their destination the wind stopped.Philippians 4:13 We can do all things through Yeshua who strengths us. Then we worship him as we learn more about him and his provisions.

Matthew 14:34-36 When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret. 35 And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him 36 and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his prayer shawl, and all who touched it were healed. Back in Matthew 8 The people of Gergesenes wanted Yeshua to leave after the 2 demon men were healed because of their fear. Some scholars believe this is the same place with different name. If so this is amazing because after they let their fear get the better of them and they missed out on his blessings. The story of the women with the issue of blood came before them. They learned of her healing by touching the hem of his prayer shawl and now that the word had spread to them they were eager to have his mercy and grace fall on them. They put their faith in the word they heard and followed in faith.

I read Mathew 1.
The first thing that struck me in the chapter, as I have been reading it in KJV, since I hardly ever read it in the KJV, is that for some reason in the genealogy, Judah is spelled Judas. I read that quite a few times, then compared it to other translations, and have to wonder why KJV says Judas instead of Judah.

Also, I am struck by how obedient Joseph is to a dream. "An angel spoke to him in a dream." I just find that very interesting. Most of my dreams have been either lost beyond recognition when I awake, or nonsensical. I have had poignant dreams that seem to be inspired before, and if I was told something I believe I would follow, but I don't know. I have a good friend who once traveled with some people who based their movements on inspired dreams.

So would you follow the voice of God if he told you to do something in a dream that contradicts what you were going to do when you were awake? Or would you shrug it off as a nonsensical dream?

God bless

dreams given by God are unforgettable, they even seem as though you actually lived them, more like a memory than a dream

Ch 15
1-9 We must check God’s word to make sure we are following his way that he has instructed us to worship him. He is to be our LORD ( master ) so we cannot chooses the way we want to worship him and think we are saved. Luke 6:46 Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say. Matthew7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Malachi 1:6 "A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?" says the LORD Almighty. Leviticus 10:1-2 Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane fire before the Lord, which He had not commanded them. 2 So fire went out from the Lord and devoured them, and they died before the Lord.

22-29 behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.”23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.”24 But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”26 But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”27 And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

Yeshua had just left the religious leaders who know the word of GOD put wanted to come to God their way and went into the land of the gentiles . Luke 17:25 But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. It is when Yeshua is rejected by the Children of Judah that he turns to the gentiles. The ancient rivalry between the Jews and the people called the Canaanites play out in the old testament. Yeshua never did anything without a reasons. He went to that gentile land just to meet this women and he does the same for each of us. Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. Yeshua had not died yet so the way was not open to the gentiles yet. Being a Canaanite she humbled herself before a Jew. She put old animosity behind her and reach out to the one she knew could help her. She called him O Lord, Son of David. Son of David is one of the names used to show the Jewishness of the messiah. First he tested her faith by not answering her, but she stood strong in her faith and would not let go of her hope for a miracle. Then he said I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. This is another test how often do we give up when we are told you can’t do or that’s not for you. She did not let what seamed like a no stop her. She was determined to get healing for her daughter. Instead of giving up she pressed in further and worshiped Him saying, “Lord, help me! But again he comes back with a Jewish insult to the Canaanites “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs. She then shows that she will not be offended she would not leave without getting what she came for. Matthew 11:6 blessed is the one who is not offended by me. She said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. When Yeshua could see she would not be denied he saidO woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour. Luke 18: 7-8 shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

Ch 16
1-19 The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven. These are the religouse leaders who should have know the signs of their times just as we are to know the signs of our times Matthew 4:7 Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test. We must trust that all we need to know is in his word and as we learn it and apply it to our heart he will give us revelations about it. Just remember that very revelation must be checked for conformation in another part of his word.2 Corinthians 13:1This will be my third visit to you. "Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

Yeshua tells us beware of the doctrine of religious leaders. We must study for ourselves so we will know error when we here it. 2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. After we are warned about false doctrine we are told the Yeshua will build his church by revelation. Simon’s name is then changed to Peter ( pebble) The LORD Yeshua is the foundation and the cornerstone. We are all pebbles that he uses per his will to build his house. Philippians 2:13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. When he comes again he is the capstone and then the doors are shut by GOD Almighty.

24 We must lay down our life and follow Yeshua. If we do not lay down our lives then we have not made him the LORD of our lives. Isaac had 2 sons and Esau as the oldest had the birthright , but he did not hold his place in the family in high regard. He sold what was rightly his for a bowl of bean soup. He made the choice to feed his flesh and disregard the birthright given to him from God as the firstborn. He treated the gift of GOD as something common.Hebrews 12:16-17Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. We must not treat the Holy things of GOD as common and we must make him LORD if we do not then this is what God said will happen.1 Timothy 4:2 These people are hypocrites who deceive by false appearances and speak lies and harden their consciences. When we let our conscience get hardened and chose to go our own way we will find the doors closed to the Kingdom.

Ch 17
17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light

We are told in verse 17:9 that this is a vision. What they had seen was a shadow of what is to come. And after the six day would mean the start of the 7 day or the start of the 7th millennium.

2 Peter 3:8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day

Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy

Revelation 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They[a] had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Luke 21:27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory

Matthew 17:3 behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
When you see the word behold that what is being said here has to do with a revelation. His return was just talked about then he has the law and the prophets symbolized by Moses and Elijah. It looks like he is saying if you want to understand this look into the law and the prophets.

Matthew 5:17 Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I didn't come to destroy them, but to fulfill them
.

Matthew 17:4Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, I will make three tabernacles here, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah."

Colossians 2:16-17 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.
The observance of the Feast of Tabernacles is recorded in Exodus 23:16, 34:22; Leviticus 23:34-43; Numbers 29:12-40; Deuteronomy 16:13-15; Ezra 3:4; and Nehemiah 8:13-18.

Leviticus 23:39 on the fifteenth day of the seventh month is the feast of booths or it is also called the feast of ingathering in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath. The people are to make temporary booths and live in them. This reminds them of when they left Egypt and lived that way in the wilderness. This is why Peter said what he said about the booths or Tabernacles. During this feast the Hebrew people carried torches around the temple symbolize the light Messiah would bring to the world. The high Priest would go from the temple to the pool of Siloam and put water in a pitcher. Then everyone would follow the High Priest another way back to the Temple. Then he would pour out the water into a silver basin by the alter. Yeshua attended the Feast of Tabernacles / Booths and said If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him. John 7:37-38 I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. John 8:12

Matthew 17:5-8 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!” 6 When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. 7 But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.” 8 When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus. This happens a lot when a great revelation is talked about.

Revelation 1:17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last
Daniel 8:18 While he was speaking to me, I was in a deep sleep, with my face to the ground. Then he touched me and raised me to my feet.

1 Thessalonians 5:1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you

1 Thessalonians 5:4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness

Matthew 17:11 Jesus replied, "Elijah is indeed coming first to get everything ready. Elijah is still to come.

Matthew 17:14-21 If we are not receiving what we know is GOD’s will through his word. We should seek his face through fasting and prayer. Just check with your doctor on what fasting is safe with your health.

Matthew 17:24-2724 When they had come to Capernaum,[a] those who received the temple tax came to Peter and said, “Does your Teacher not pay thehalf a shekel ?”25 He said, “Yes.” And when he had come into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth take customs or taxes, from their sons or from strangers?”26 Peter said to Him, “From strangers.” Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are free. 27 Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money;[b] take that and give it to them for Me and you.”

NUMBERS 3:44 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying , 45Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD.46 And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are more than the Levites;47 Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:) 48 And thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto Aaron and to his sons.49 And Moses took the redemption money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites:50 Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:51 And Moses gave the money of them that were redeemed unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.

EX 30:13-16 11 Then the Lord said to Moses, 12 “When you take a census of the Israelites to count them, each one must pay the Lord a ransom for his life at the time he is counted. Then no plague will come on them when you number them. 13 Each one who crosses over to those already counted is to give a half shekel, according to the sanctuary shekel, which weighs twenty gerahs. This half shekel is an offering to the Lord. 14 All who cross over, those twenty years old or more, are to give an offering to the Lord. 15 The rich are not to give more than a half shekel and the poor are not to give less when you make the offering to the Lord to atone for your lives. 16 Receive the atonement money from the Israelites and use it for the service of the tent of meeting. It will be a memorial for the Israelites before the Lord, making atonement for your lives
Revelation 5:10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."
God has made us priest to serve him in his house, The Levites were Priest and served in the house of GOD so they did not pay the half shekel. As sons in the house we don’t pay a ransom the LORD Yeshua paid it for us. Yeshua humbled himself and being the owner of the house paid the temple tax anyway.

Now the people who are not the son will pay tribute on Tabernacles.
Zechariah 14:16-19 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain. 18 If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles

.Ch 18

1-7 At The end of chapter 17 Yeshua humbled himself and paid the temple tax. After seeing Yeshua humble himself the wanted to know who was the greatest. He then teaches that we need to humble ourselves like children. There is a strong warning here , We are to help the babes in Yeshua messiah not lead them astray. If we do not know the answer find it or turn them to someone who does. He lets us know that if we stay humble people will take advantage of us. They will try and turn our faith and gentile Spirit by deception to serve their wants and desires . You can’t even turn on Christian TV now days without hearing of the prosperity gospel. We are warned about this in many places in God’s word.

8 Your hand represents the action you do for good or to commit sin. Your feet represents you path for good or for evil. Your eye is the light into the mind, what we see we think on.

Proverbs 1:16 for their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed blood.

Matthew 6:23 But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness

Matthew 18:15-20
We are to not gossip but to go to the one who has sinned against us and to him only if he will listen make reconciliation. If he does not listen then you bring witnesses. If the matter is still not settled then you bring him to the house of God. If he will not repent then the church will pass judgment. He is to be considered as an unbeliever. Where 2 or 3 are gathered in Yeshua’s name he is there. So the Judgment passed by the church is also bound in heaven. Everything must be done that can be done to restore him and help loose him from the sin that separates. If a brother can be restored then we must forgive.

Matthew 18:22 Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times

70 X 7 = 490 a person is to sleep 8 hours in a 24 hour time frame. That leaves us with 16 hours there are 960 minutes in 16 hours. In a 24 hour period we are to forgive 490 times . so 960 divided by 490 is 1.95. That means we should forgive a brother who comes once every one minute 55 seconds.

Matthew 18:23-24 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.
Every word in the Bible have meaning, The LORD did not just pick a random number in the ten thousand talents. Hebrew people who knew the word of GOD would have been brought back to the story of Esther.
Esther 3:9 If it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king's treasuries.
Haman is a type of antichrist who wanted to destroy GOD’s people. Haman begged for mercy from Esther, but the King ( our GOD )knows what is in each ones heart. Haman and his sons were hung. The LORD shows us that whatever the evil that has been done to us we must forgive. If we do not truly forgive from our heart those who have sinned against us and that includes ourselves. The LORD will turn us over to the torturers until we forgive from the heart. If we lack peace in our life we need to look deep into our heart and see where forgiveness is needed.

Ch 19
16-24 When the young man asked Yeshua what he must do to have eternal life. There is a clue to this man’s heart in what was not said. Yeshua only said the commandments that were between men. This man was in right standing with his fellow man, but he had great possessions and they had become his GOD. 1 commandment YHVH you are the God who took me out of Egypt, out of slavery and bondage, I am to have no other God’s before you.
Matthew 19:25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, "Who then can be saved? Just because people may have the goods of the world does not mean they are children of GOD.
Psalm 17:14 O LORD, by your hand save me from such men, from men of this world whose reward is in this life. You still the hunger of those you cherish; their sons have plenty, and they store up wealth for their children.
Matthew 5:45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus
God has promised to meet our needs and as we follow his ways we will be blessed, Our Father knows what we need before we ask him Matthew 6:8. The goods of this world do not necessarily show God’s favor .

Matthew 20
1-16 For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. 2 Now when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 and said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle, and said to them, ‘Why have you been standing here idle all day?’ 7 They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right you will receive.’
8 “So when evening had come, the owner of the vineyard said to his steward, ‘Call the laborers and give them their wages, beginning with the last to the first.’ 9 And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they each received a denarius. 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise received each a denarius. 11 And when they had received it, they complained against the landowner, 12 saying, ‘These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.’ 13 But he answered one of them and said, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? 14 Take what is yours and go your way. I wish to give to this last man the same as to you. 15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’ 16 So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.

1 Corinthians 12:4-11 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

We must be faithful to the task that GOD gave us to do. It is not about time or position but how we run the race God sets before us. Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us

Matthew 20:32 -34When Jesus heard them, he stopped and called, "What do you want me to do for you? They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.” 34 And Jesus in pity touched their eyes, and immediately they recovered their sight and followed him. Matthew 6:8 Our Father knows what we need before we ask him. We have to come humble before him in faith and make our request know. We he opens our eyes we must follow him to the cross. Romans 6:6-9knowing this, that our old ]self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be [done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; 7 for he who has died is freed from sin.8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him

Matthew 21
Ecclesiastes 1:9 What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.
21:1 As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage ( house of unripe figs)on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples. The mount of olives is also called mount of Messiah. So with Yeshua spending so much time on this mountain is not a mystery. Yeshua came the first time when his word had been hijacked and he said this about his second coming, I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth Luke 18:8

21:2 Go into the village over there," he said. "As soon as you enter it, you will see a donkey tied there, with its colt beside it. Untie them and bring them to me
Zechariah 9:9 “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.
Genesis 49:11-12 He will tether his donkey to a vine, his colt to the choicest branch; he will wash his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes. His eyes will be darker than wine, his teeth whiter than milk. This speaks of Yeshua’s humbleness as he comes to be the sacrifice for our sins and the burden that was on his shoulders

Matthew Left out “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion. This was not a time of rejoicing and Salvation because Salvation come to the world when he comes the 2nd time. This shows that this is a 2 part prophecy.
This also speaks of us ,Exodus 34:20 Redeem the firstborn donkey with a lamb, but if you do not redeem it, break its neck. Redeem all your firstborn sons. We are unclean before the LORD until we have been redeemed with a lamb. We also as may like our LORD and countless after him may have to carry a burden to our death for him. John 15:20 Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.Revelation 12:11And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.Revelation 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years

Matthew 21:8-9 And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David!‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’[ Hosanna in the highest!. This is from the feast of Tabernacles Leviticus 23:40 'Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the foliage of beautiful trees, palm branches and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days. The feast of Tabernacles is also called the feast of ingathering. They were honoring him as the Messiah.

Matthew 21:12 Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.
Zechariah 14:21 Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holiness to the Lord of hosts.] Everyone who sacrifices shall come and take them and cook in them. In that day there shall no longer be a merchant in the house of the Lord of hosts.
1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God's household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God's Good News?

Matthew 21:42-44 Jesus *said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures ,The stone which the builders rejected, This became the chief corner stone; This came about from the Lord,
And it is marvelous in our eyes’? 43 Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people, producing the fruit of it. And he who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust. Acts 4:11-12 He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the chief corner stone. 12 And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” This is also a end time prophecy. Daniel 2:34-35 You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earthIsaiah 2:3 Many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem

Matthew Ch 22
Ecclesiastes 1:9 What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun

Matthew 22:1-14 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a king ( Father GOD ) who prepared a wedding banquet for his son ( Yeshua / Jesus ). 3 He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
4 “Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’
5 “But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business. 6 The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. 7 The king ( GOD) was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. ( Jerusalem 70 AD) and Mystery Babylon Revelation 18:8 Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her: death, mourning and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her
8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. 9 So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ 10 So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
11 “But when the king ( GOD ) came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes.Revelation 19:8She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear." For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God's holy people. 12 He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend ?’ The man was speechless. ( He chose not to put on the garment GOD had provided). 13 “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
14 “For many are invited ( I believe this is All our invited) but few are chosen (Revelation 19:7 the bride has made herself ready)2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth

Matthew 22:15-22 Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. 16 They sent their disciples (religious people) to him along with the Herodians. ( political ) Teacher,” they said, “we know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are. 17 Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay the imperial tax[a] to Caesar or not?”
18 But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, “You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? ( They attack him on 2 fronts thinking he could not answer both without a fending one side) 19 Show me the coin (Yeshua / Jesus did not have the coin / mark ) used for paying the tax.” They brought him a denarius, 20 and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?”
21 “Caesar’s,” they replied.
Then he said to them, “So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”Revelation 13:17 no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name 22 When they heard this, they were amazed. So they left him and went away.
3 That same day the Sadducees ( religious leaders ) who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question. 24 “Teacher,” they said, “Moses told us that if a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and raise up offspring for him. Deuteronomy 25:5-10 5 If brothers are living together and one of them dies without a son, his widow must not marry outside the family. Her husband’s brother shall take her and marry her and fulfill the duty of a brother-in-law to her. 6 The first son she bears shall carry on the name of the dead brother so that his name will not be blotted out from Israel. 7 However, if a man does not want to marry his brother’s wife, she shall go to the elders at the town gate and say, “My husband’s brother refuses to carry on his brother’s name in Israel. He will not fulfill the duty of a brother-in-law to me.” 8 Then the elders of his town shall summon him and talk to him. If he persists in saying, “I do not want to marry her,” 9 his brother’s widow shall go up to him in the presence of the elders, take off one of his sandals, spit in his face and say, “This is what is done to the man who will not build up his brother’s family line.” 10 That man’s line shall be known in Israel as The Family of the Unsandaled
25 Now there were seven brothers among us (He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the 7 churches.) The first one married and died, and since he had no children, he left his wife to his brother. 26 The same thing happened to the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh. 27 Finally, the woman died. 28 Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?
29 Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. 30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. 31 But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, 32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’[a]? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”Deuteronomy - Chapter 32:39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god beside me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand.
33 When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at his teaching
Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’] 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets. All the laws hang on these because If you love the lord you will honor him and do what he has said. If you love your neighbor as yourself, you would do all the commandment for others as written in the Bible.

Matthew Ch 23
1-2 We are to look to those who have been put in places of authority in scripture knowledge to help us understand, but We are also to study to make sure what they are telling us is true .

2 Timothy 2:15 study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth

Jude 1:4 For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
What are some ways we can discern the false teachers:

4 Do they lay heavy burdens on their congregations.

5 They seek glory for themselves but use the name of god to get that glory. They do what they can to be notices by men and draw men to themselves.

6 They use what was given to further God’s kingdom to lavish themselves with the best of things.

7-8 We are to honor the authority given to one in a teaching ministry, but he is just like us no better doing the work GOD has called him to do. The body has many parts.

1 Corinthians 12:12 The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.
9-10 There is only one Spiritual father and that is GOD, He is the one who gives us Spiritual life. To give a man this honor is to put him in the place of GOD.

Yeshua / Jesus Goes on to tell us more of what these false teachers do

Woe = How terrible it will be for you because of your arrogant stupidity.

13 Woe, to the religious writers and teachers who pretends to have religious beliefs and principles. They lead people astray for self-gain.

14Woe, They prey on the weak and needy as they try and sound like godly concerned people.

15 Woe, They go out witnessing, but it is a gospel to suite them not GOD. Then their converts go out with what they have learned and spread the lie adding sin to sin.

16-22 Woe, They are making the world value of a gift more important then the Spiritual.

Exodus 29:37-38 For seven days make atonement for the altar and consecrate it. Then the altar will be most holy, and whatever touches it will be holy. This is what you are to offer on the altar regularly each day: two lambs a year old.

23-24 Woe, Some religious leaders will take about how much they tithe , but have no or a small outreach to the poor and needed. The very tithe that is given to them is to help the needy and poor.

Micah 6:8 He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God

Isaiah 58:6-10Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,To let the oppressed go free,And that you break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh?
8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily,And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’“If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
10 If you extend your soul to the hungry And satisfy the afflicted soul,
Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, And your darkness shall be as the noonday
25-26 Woe, Some people are so worried about what people think about them,, do they have the right car, clothes, etc. We are to put our focus on God’s desires then we will have peace.

Jude 1:4 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

27-28 Woe, Some people look like very religious people but it is only for show, it is not how they truly are.

Revelation 3:1 To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead
29 -39 Woe, The false religious people always persecute the Children of GOD. Even after Yeshua’s / Jesus death people who were chosen of god had to fight to further the kingdom of GOD. Check out Fox Book of Martyrs.

Matthew 11:12 From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it

Matthew 24 part 1
Matthew 24:1-2 Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down
Hebrews 11:30 faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days
Joshua 6:15 On the seventh day, they got up at daybreak and marched around the city seven times in the same manner, except that on that day they circled the city seven times
Joshua 6:20 When the trumpets sounded, the people shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the people gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so every man charged straight in, and they took the city
Matthew 24:3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age
Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you
2 Timothy 4:3 For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.
Jude 1:4 For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Matthew 24:5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many
Revelation 6:2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a ( Victors Crown) crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.
1 John 2:22 Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son
