Matthew 24 part 2
Verse 16. Then let them that are in Judea flee into the mountains.
Get away from the city, run for the mountains, hills.
Verse 17. Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
If the people in Judea ore told to flee to the mountains these people have to be some place else. What did you do no the house top in a time of trouble? Keep watch, keep a lookout so you could sound the alarm to those working in the fields, tending the flocks and herds. This is a time of danger and war you are not to turn into a deserter, grab what ever you can and run. I was in the Navy but it is the same in all branches of the service desertion during a time of war is a death sentence. What Matthew is saying stay at your post and watch for the coming of Jesus, sound the alarm that this one in Jerusalem is not the true Christ but the false one. You see this same thing said in Mark 13 and Luke 21.
Verse 18.Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
If you go back to chapter 13 of this same book you find Jesus explains it. I want this to stand out so I have put it in red. Please remember these are the words of Jesus not me. This is the way Jesus says it is going to come down not me.
Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 41The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The field is the world! We are not suppose to quit working in the world when we see these things happen. If we are the good seed if we are the children of the kingdom we stay working in that field. How long. Till He sends forth his angles gathers the tares the children of the wicked one the devil, Satan, That one standing in the Holy place in the city of Jerusalem proclaiming to be God are gathered by the reapers and then and only then an only then shall we be gathered into the kingdom of our Father, God.
What are we to learn here? Don't leave your Guard post, don't stop working in the field until the harvest is ripe and the tears are picked out and then the wheat goes into the barn. Will this be an extended period of time or will it happen quickly?

50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
I have learned a lot from these verses but we can go into that later. I want to look at verses 51-52. Verse 51 says we are all not going to die before Jesus returns, but we shall all be changed. That is all people; all the children of Satan and all the children of God. Verse 52 tells us just how fast all this is going to take place. In a moment in the twinkling of an eye: that is less time than it takes you to blink. At the seventh trump: again I had to look that up; there is so much to learn and I am not getting any younger, I hope I get it all. I wish someone would have told me about this earlier, let me know it was this interesting, but I digress. The 7th trump it is the last trump to sound. And the dead. The Strong's says that is the mortal soul, the soul that is libel to die. That would be the tears wouldn't it. And we all shall be changed . So the children of the wicked one will have a spirit that is libel to die but the wheat will have wheat will have an immortal spirit that will never die.
Matthew 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Stop and thank here do you thank God would ever me mad, upset Ect. with a mother with a child. NO. This has to mean something else. I thank KenAllen this goes back to the over spreading in verse 15. Jesus has been gone 2022 + years at this time. He is coming back looking for a virgin bride; but what does He find? You nursing a strange spirit, some false religion, do you thank He is going to be happy? I have an example here when I was in the Navy we were under way every year for a 6 month Med cruse and a 3 month Caribbean cruse and a 3 week training cruse with the cadets from Navel collage. There were guys that would line the rails of the boat looking for there wives and girlfriends and there was always some that would find out that there wife, girlfriend could not wait for them and ran off with an other man. Same thing here Antichrist shows up looks like Jesus sounds like Jesus does miracles like Jesus, speaks like Jesus but is a wolf in sheep's clothing. That is just like these -------- that took advantage of the wives and girlfriends of the sailors. Satan is going to do the something to try and Wo you right into his arms.
Verse 20. But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Pray that you are not taken out of season or during that period time that is Satan's time in the holy place.
