Pretend to be the Christ (Jesus Christ) and mislead the four apostles was very unlikely.

Jesus is the son of the only God, the father.

Jesus was a prophet.
And Jesus is God

The Word Became Flesh
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it.

Verse 1

................ and the Word was God

If I understand correctly, you believe the destruction of the temple is an Example of what Will happen in the end time, Israel that born as a nation will be destroy. Am I correct?
That is where the feet of Jesus touch down and cleave that valley as the Lords Day begins. That is "the end" of an entire age. NOTHING will be like it is now ever again the moment He returns. The dead are resurrected and ALL are changed. That covers ALL FLESH. BUT that is ok because we have two bodies and this flesh must die to put on our new one. Read 1 Cor 15. Some will remain mortal (that 2nd death still in their future) and some will receive their immortal bodies (on whom the 2nd death has no effect). Now some will tell you that "flesh" will be around for the 1000 yrs. NOT possible because 1000 yrs was the longest age anyone was to live in the flesh (lots of back facts not quoting here) so if at His return someone was already 100 yrs... One problem. Problem Two. Excuses. There will be no mental, physical or emotional excuses at the Great Throne Judgment. All will be judged in their " Spiritual" bodies. No "flesh" problems will be taken to the millennium. NO EXCUSES. Life or lake of fire. If He can do this now, Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, what do you think He will be able to see then.

is the Bible just a bunch of disjointed paragraphs randomly jumbled together into books?
That is hardly the point. You were straining at gnats and swallowing camels by trying to connect Matthew 22 to Matthew 24. Matthew 22 has NO PROPHETIC CONTENT.

He never answered their foolish request directly.
What makes you say that the questions of the apostles were "foolish"? That in itself is rather foolish, since Jesus took the time to given them an overview of all the developments between His first and second comings + further clarification of the Rapture. Indeed the Olivet Discourse is found in all three Synoptic Gospel, which means that it is a very important portion of prophetic teaching by Christ.

So you believe the destroyed of the temple is a symbol of second coming, am I correct?

So you believe the destroyed of the temple is a symbol of second coming, am I correct?
No, it is the end of the second coming. The beginning of the Lords Day. When Satan is destroyed by the Brightness of His coming. When Jesus returns after the abomination of desolation stands where he ought not telling the world he is god and then he kills the two witnesses who lie in the street for 3 1/2 days while everyone who has been deceived by him parties until they rise up as Jesus descends with a shout and the trump of God...... I don't know if we conversed on the Fig Tree Parable and generation but up until Israel became a nation again, no matter what seems to have already happened, ALL end time prophesy has to happen AFTER 1948. That is what the parable is about. The past does not change or alter any of the prophesy for the Last generation, the generation when all will be fulfilled. Daniels prophesy is of the past and the future.
But let me ask you something. Are you questioning me because you don't know or because you want to tell me something? Do you have some cards to play? If so please play them. If not, please keep asking questions because I love to answer them and love even more the ones I have no answer to because it sends me deep into the WORD. My favorite place in all the world. Got to take the dog out

Signs of the End of the Age (Verse 3 of Matthew 24 to verse 14)

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

When the temple was destroyed in AD 70, the Romans slaughtered thousands of Jews. Those who did not die immediately were enslaved and sent to toil in the mines of Egypt. Others were dispersed to arenas throughout the Empire to be butchered for the amusement of the public.

A few Judean strongholds remained at Herodium, Machaerus, and Masada. Both Herodium and Machaerus fell to the Roman army within the next two years, with Masada remaining as the final stronghold of the Judean rebels. In 73 CE, the Romans breached the walls of Masada and captured the fortress, with Josephus claiming that all the Jewish defenders had committed mass suicide prior to the entry of the Romans.

Titus and his soldiers celebrated their victory when they returned to Rome by parading the Menorah and Table of the Bread of God’s Presence through the streets. Up until this parading, these items had only ever been seen by the high priest of the Temple.

When we die, that is the end of the world for us (this world). When the Temple was destroyed it was the end of the world for practically every living Jew, and it could be said it was the end of the Jewish Nation as it was then.

The disciple asked: “When shall these things be? What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?”

Had they realised it, Jesus was warning the disciples that the end of the world would come for them in their generation. The Jews themselves killed His disciples. His warnings about the false prophets, the deceivers who would come in His name, the wars i.e. the happenings of AD70, nation rising against nation, (Rome against Jew) and in verse 9 he actually said, “they shall kill you.”

This was the end of the world for practically every living Jew. The rest of the chapter tells of the present day and finally Christs return.

How does this allow for Daniels prophesy and the Parable of the Fig Tree?

I read some scholars believe "the end will come" we typically see at the Matt 24:14, should be read together with the next verse 15...."the end will come when you see the abomination of desolation..."

We know the original script had no punctuation so, could be true. Makes more sense to me that way.

So for people that die before AD 70, the destroyed of the temple is not the sign of end time.

Seem to me If you interprate the end of the world is when we die, then there are billions of the end of the world, and we are world.

End of world = end of me> me= world

Matthew 24:14: ".......and later the end will come"".

In Greek "tote" means later, not necessarily immediately later.

But I would like comments on verses 3 and 4 on the questions to Jesus and his reply.

I have already stated my points.

I agree and as for my religious denomination Jw the olivetan prophecy is teached not to be speculated upon.

Of course I completely disagree,
