Visions are when your awake !You live it for a time! But God can and does reveal things in dreams , which are when our body is asleep ! Our spirit never sleeps ! It awake always ! I only had one vision in my life time! I had it three times! God revealed in it that Tampa , Florida would be nuked ! I felt the after shock and all it was really neat! But He has never told me when ! I have asked HIM many times ! Because i have a Son living there ! I think like He told Abraham , So He could pray for LOT or warn Him ? I loved having the Vision !and He has giving me dreams many times! You understand ? God speaks to Us in our minds , just as satan does ! Every thought that enters our minds are not always our thoughts ! Some from the LORD , some from demons ! And some are our !

twofeet;

If you are taking the kingdom by force you are of the wicked one, your father the devil.
John 8:44 (KJV)
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

The wicked have taken the kingdom by force.

Matthew 11:11-12 (KJV)
11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

The violent are wicked men.

A God fearing Christian does not take the kingdom of heaven by force it is given to them in love from God.
God is coming back to take back his kingdom from the wicked and give it to others (the righteous).
Luke 20:9-16 (KJV)
9 Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.
10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.
11 And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
12 And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out.
13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.
14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?
16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.

Did I say anything about being violent? I think not! You are very quick to say I am wicked and my father is the devil when you have no idea what I mean when I say "take the kingdom by force". You did not ask me to clarify but immediately jump to conclusions. Taking the kingdom by force, for me, means looking into your own life. The kingdom of God is IN US. Therefore make sure every thought is taken captive, every heart motive is weighed before God, every word is carefully chosen before speaking because words have the power of life or death, they can build up or tear down. Its about seeking with every inch of your being, being hungry and thirsty for righteousness and a close walk with God. Its about breaking down strongholds that keep you captive, breaking off the patterns of this world, a daily laying down your life for God. Is NOT about attacking anyone, but being focused on keeping your own side of the road clean. Not trying to remove the speck of dust out of someone's eye when there is a whole plank in your own.Its about being quick to listen and slow to speak...especially if your not sure on what someone is saying. But if you wana judge me by the very little you know about me go ahead. If you think you can stand in Gods shoes and tell me what I am be my quest. Personally speaking, I think God does a better job at judging me as He sees the WHOLE of me therefore His judgement is correct. But if you honestly belive Im of the devil thats your problem and not mine. God bless you.

Many words lead to confusion.
Someone posted Job in here.
"Who is this that darkeneth council by words without knowledge?" Job 38:2
Don't expect God to show you the truth through 10,000 voices.
It ain't a happening thing.
Keep your secrets between you and Him.

I am grateful for everyones help, but honestly all this talk about it being a trick and a dangerous spiritual path and such just confuses me. wether the dream happens or not i have left that up to god,so can we just drop it now i can't handle all of this confusion. i know everyone means well though and i know patience is hard for me but i am still new to this after all. But according to a few people god has called me to be a prophet, i recently heard that anyone can have the spiritual gift of prophesy but i don't know if that is correct. before i was a christian god sent me a vision he sent me a few more when i became a christian then there is the fact i see things with what i call my spiritual eye. heck when i go on walks alot of times i will look into the sky and see a cross made of light and its huge. now i don't know if this is just my imagination or if god is showing me something but its amazing,

Blaine,
This last post clinched it for me. A prophet does not float the possibility before others if they have the gift of prophecy etc. The confusion seems to be your own uncertainty. God does not deal with his prophets that way.
