A couple of weeks ago I was laying down in bed and out of nowhere I see the words MANATHA and MARANATHA appear in a "vision" along with of an Indian like woman. I have never heard or seen these of words in my life. They just appeared out of nowhere and was short but intense. I then googled both words. The Son of man, Jesus set the example. He refused to allow personal experiences as a valuator of His unseen spiritual truths . Jesus world not give into the work of the father of lies intruding into those things which he had not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind.... as weak as the fleshly mind of Jesus he did the will of the father, strengthened by the father.

Three times he revealed to us the one source of faith by which we can beleive. .as it is written and again and again struck him out.

I would resist the devil as it is written he will flee. You never know where lying sign will lead a person

Probably not wise to advise someone to do that. It's important for each person to hear from God first and not people. Rather we should encourage people to seek God. for direction and answers.

i really don't think it's a good idea for people who aren't sure they believe the gospel to be sent out to preach the gospel.

You are welcome to your opinion, but this poster was seeking advice, and he did receive sound advice. God already gave him directions according to him -- "I can't shake the feeling that the spirit is calling me".

A lot of Christians like to dither around and sound super spiritual while dithering, but practical advice is in short supply. A person says that he believes he has heard from God. Well then he needs to get a move on, not dither around. He will discover God's plan while he makes the efforts that are within his capabilities.
