And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country

And Laban said to Jacob, Behold this heap, and behold this pillar, which I have cast betwixt me and thee;

This heap be witness, and this pillar be witness, that I will not pass over this heap to thee, and that thou shalt not pass over this heap and this pillar unto me, for harm.

Hebrew Lexicon :: H5707 (KJV)

עֵד

rhod

witness

coincidentally Jared dies around the time of the birth of Joseph
jah-red = witness of jahweh?
red = blood?

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one

Reading the complete bible in a day or a week has very little value unless one has a photographic mind. With out such a mind it turns out to be a vain repetition and the Bible covers such things.

Mac.
Wisdom indeed, Mac. Thanks.

I have been studying mine for years and I don't anticipate ever finishing. :)
Where do you get that? There is absolutely nothing in the bible that gives a clue as to how long Adam was in the garden. Might have a year, might have been 10,000 years.
This is an interesting idea, but I have always understood Adam's age to have started when he was formed and not after he was kicked out of the garden. Adam was 120 (according to the bible, but as I understand it he was 230, or something like that in the Septuagint) when Seth was born. Of course I do realize that my understanding does not effect what actually happened, but for now I will hold to Adam's lifespan being 930 years (Gen 5:5).

Just to be clear, I am not being sarcastic. I really do find this idea interesting. Perhaps Adams "days" did not begin until being kicked out of the garden. It's just not an idea that I am ready to hold on to at this point.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Rhodan, and there He put the man whom He had formed.

Rodan is a son of Javan (Ion)
Rodan would have been born around the same time that New Jerusalem landed on Ararat.

Eden, not Rhodan.

Granpa, once again, you've shot yourself in the foot. There is no mention of Rodan in your link.

Let me show you the difference.
This is Rodan. Here he is fighting Godzilla.

This is Eden:
