you sound like you want to be guilty

the LOL should have clued you in that I wasn't bothered by it...
you just wrote such a long a long defense I thought I should make you aware
you were defending the air in case you wanted to have another go

chill
defending the air?

I make a simple mistake and put you as the op, big deal.
my reply to defend this small mistake was not a long
drawn out defence, but was only a couple sentences long .

but the rest of the post was a hole nother subject, it was about not
to forswear yourself to an oath, directed to everyone in general.

did you read it?

Similer to making a declaration to do something in the future,
which that is what the op was about.

-

wasn't bothered ?

so then you basically "called me a lier" in post # 48 in bolded letters.
also then the lol on the end could have been real laughter on your part,

I have no way to know your intetion there with the lol.
now you say I was defending the air, sounds like laughter directed at me.

now should I not defend myself if others call me a lier?
or to you this reply must mean I am even more guilty then before.

TAKE EVERYTHING OUT OF US THAT IS NOT OF YOU. WE REPENT JESUS. I PRAY THIS IN YOUR HOLY, MIGHTY, WONDERFUL, FAITHFUL NAME JESUS NAME

sorry about the thing with the folder i do not know how to take that off :(
No particular order. This is just how my brain works. (It is an unorderly brain. lol)

1. How are you doing JSB? Have you and Mr. JSB been able to find any jobs yet? How is the brother doing? (Last I heard there seemed to be some problem with him. Can't remember what, other than I worried you two wouldn't have a place to keep your van.) But, have things become physically better for you and your hubby?

2. The caps really do make me jittery. I don't know why. (It is somehow connected to me being a kid, Dad yelling at me, and on one of those few occasions when I honestly didn't do anything wrong that I meant to, but he was yelling so loudly, I couldn't hear why he was yelling. Admittedly, most of the time he was yelling at me, I did know why, and it didn't bother me so much. lol) Not like I never cap words, but I do tend to only cap words for empathize.

3. Your declaration reminds me of Psalm 51. (Been stuck on that one again the last few says, and I'm not even studying Psalms anymore.) Might want to read it. I think you'll recognize your declaration as very similar to David's.

Thanks for the reminder.

Netiquette is dumb. It is just typing in LARGE LETTERS. Who invented that rule? I have always WONDERED.

I did not have to cover my ears when reading the OP.
Al Gore invented it back when he invented the Internet.

so someone writes about their love for God and all some of you can do is find something wrong with how he wrote it

I'm ashamed for you

always the same people too

so kind and Christian of you

say what you want...it means nothing to me whatsoever...
And that makes you different... how?

And it probably never would if someone did not say something. Perhaps such advice could be better worded, but please NEVER think that it should not be immediately addressed. That's sure nowhere near anything like bullying. And, as *Prove-All* said.... for Pete's sake, use some spacing.

To tell you the truth, because it was so carelessly constructed, and seemingly just blurted out, with no particular concern for helping people actually "read" it, I have still not read even a half of the OP. Nor do I care to.
Most aren't worth reading. JSB is.

Try it. I suspect you'll like it. (Might need aspirin afterward to handle the eye strain, but sometimes it's worth eye strain.)

I had no problem reading it

or understanding it
You're young. You probably haven't even hit bifocal stage, once more special-computer-glasses-along-with-bifocal stage yet. What can I say. :p

(Yes. I see your age, "Kid." lol)

Well, some of us old people with cataracts, who were myopic, eye-speaking since we were 10, really do have issues reading!

So, I think it would be nice if people used regular font, unless perhaps there is something very important to emphasize, occasionally.

All caps lock is just difficult to read, physically for me. So, I didn't read it. I know, that is not what the OP intended. Perhaps he could re-write it, in regular letters, so I can see what he said.

Some of us old people would appreciate it! Thanks!
Well, if we're going that far, how about Size 3 font too?

Now this is readable! And the bolding, italics, etc do not detract, but rather emphasizes what the OP was saying.

I do agree with most of this. Just not, "heal the sick, cast out demons." We do not heal the sick, Jesus does. Of course, we certainly can pray for the sick. As for demons, yes they exist! But they cannot hurt the saved. As for the lost, be careful not to cast out one demon, and have 7 more return, because the person is now empty, and without the Holy Spirit within. (Matt 12:25; Luke 11:26)

When an unclean spirit goes out of a person, it passes through waterless places looking for rest but does not find it. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the home I left.’ When it returns, it finds the house empty, swept clean, and put in order. 45 Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and live there, so the last state of that person is worse than the first. It will be that way for this evil generation as well!” Matt 12:43-15 NET
Actually, bold usually guarantees I will skip that line.

Teachizown. (To each his own <--- Philly-Talk style.)

I invented that rule when I encountered a chatter using all caps and asked, "Why are you yelling?"

I also started the trout smacking craze, and shutting all the front doors....among other things.

But? Butbutbut you can't be Al Gore. You're a girl!

sometimes it's like playing telephone. or gossip. idk what it's called in Canada.

you know, that old game where you sat in a circle with friends, someone whispered something in the next person's ear, it went around the circle in that way, and the last person said aloud what they heard?

which in no way resembled what the first person said. :D
Witches showed the way to assemble what?

you're pressing it now

off to somewhere over the rainbow for you

I still don't care for the nitpicking here

I see plenty of threads that I shrug and move on from...including the wall of text posts

with a few exceptions, I don't see where people are going to listen anymore than the BDF is a good place to settle belief differences

this may just be a little more civil haha
Seriously?? Did you come back having totally lost your sense of humour?

My fondest dream is to have readable posts. And good spelling and grammar is part of that! But the fact that I said it was "wishing for the moon" implied it was satire and a joke.

Lots of people obviously got it. But, you seem determined to criticize, I guess.

Sheesh! It was a joke! LOL

Thank you for this...I never did understand what this meant, not sure I still do ...Would you please explain more to me if I get it wrong...If I was to bless a certain someone who is not saved, the person would become free of the evil in them, but because they are not saved, they are empty which means the same demon comes back with seven more, am I right:confused:...xox...

I think that is what Jesus is saying.

Basically, you are either filled with the Holy Spirit, and a servant of God, or something else. It may not be actual demons, but greed, lust, fear, pride, etc etc, come to mind.

When Christ saves us, he gives us the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us, to transform us into the image of Christ.

"And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit." 2 Cor. 3:18

But what about unbelievers who don't have the Holy Spirit? Well, I think sometimes perhaps being delivered might turn people to Christ. But then, I think of the 10 lepers Jesus healed, and only one returned to thank him. Jesus asked what happened to the other 9! But, the answer was they went in their sinful way, I guess.

Probably best to pray for someone to know Christ, is my thought! Of course, Jesus did heal many and we don't know what happened after. But, I doubt all of them came to saving faith, perhaps giving rise to this hard saying!

There was a time when I, too, scoffed at the involvement Jesus said He wants us to have in His healing of people.
@Willie-T

I have 2 smart answers for you!

1. There was a time when I scoffed at people who didn't believe in the involvement Jesus wanted us to have in healing his people. (Actually true! I was in the Pentecostal/charismatic, edge of Word Faith first, before I walked away from it!)

2. I never said we should not pray for healing. I said WE do not heal people, Jesus does! Sometimes without our help, sometimes through prayer, and sometimes Jesus uses doctors. But it is not about US, but the power of God!

@anyone else! If you didn't see before, I do have issues reading small print, caps lock, especially with no white space, and the KJV. So, if I skip over something, I apologize. It's just getting harder and harder to focus, and my attention span is also shot. Gee, getting old sucks! LOL

As for my obsession with spelling and grammar, you can take the teacher out of the school, but you can't take the school out of the teacher! (A big reason why I am not posting a lot, lately, is because I'm tired of posting with one finger on my Iphone and IPad, since I ruined 2 external keyboards by spilling hot tea all over them, and fed up with auto correct giving more to edit than if I turned it off!)

Oh yes, when I grew up, we learned the fine art of editing. Going back and reading what you wrote, correcting mistakes, till it makes sense. I know there are dyslexic people, but everyone can benefit by simply re-reading what they wrote before posting. It is harder to catch mistakes in a screen, than a hard copy, but, content could definitely be altered. If you can't read it yourself, why do people think anyone else can. (Not directed to the OP, just a general forum comment!) Someday, for fun, I will post a comment I haven't extensively edited. I think everyone would be shocked, and not have a clue what I was trying to say! We ALL need to edit!

@prove-all, 7seas directed that comment to me about being picky. At least, she "Replied with Quote" to me, and my silly sarcasm about spelling and grammar.
