Lord, help me to live a life that is well pleasing unto you. Nothing is more important to me; no ambition, no pursuit, no desire, no thing. My greatest desire is that as this journey closes and I walk into your sweet embrace that you smile and say, “Well done my good and faithful servant. Maybe? It's one thing to pray in the privacy of your own prayer closet these kind of prayers as a believer/priest, but to make an open show of them in public with the appearance of humility, they need to stay in the prayer closet between the believer and God. In public we should pray for others, for the needs of others, for the good and welfare of others and for the salvation of others as we approach God by faith through His promises.
I believe we can pray in public but we can't be pridefull or boastful. Matthew 6:5 "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagoges and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward."
