As for the Synagogue of Satan, it was a warning for our time against people like you and Cup of Ruin, who claim that the Jews aren't the "real" Jews and the "real" Jews are Christians.
man, this is a conundrum. i'm confused here. this controversy is a dead-end for me. maybe you could address some questions i have.
i see by your handle you might: know you are a true Israelite (by racial origin); or choose to identify with Judaism. are you Jewish (religion) or Christian? can there be both?
do you know you are descended from Judah? why Yeshua? is English your first language? i ask sincerely. there's confusion here.
do you mean to say those Jesus warned who claim to be Jews are actually blasphemous Christians who claim to be jews? *puzzled*
if a Christian says they are a Jew (or want to be?) are they wishing they were of different racial origin, or they hold to the Old Covenant?
WHY would a
true Christian, whether originally of Judahic extraction (how they can know this, i know not) OR by conversion from Judaism (i believe the subject being TALMUDIC Judaism) drop the NEW Name, Christian, and pretend to be a Jew?
i don't get it. why would we try to put the OLD WINE into the NEW WINESKIN?.
Christians are Christians by faith, those in Talmudic Judaism are in a false religion. no? that's what i thought...hmmmm.
Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
what did Jesus mean exactly when He said this of Nathanael?
John 1:47
Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
does Paul gives the answer?:
Romans 9
1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
2 That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.
3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son.
10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;
11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth
12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
elsewhere someone recalled for me the allegory of the bondservant vs the free. Paul uses the story of Ishmael to go beyond the children of the SEED (UNDER THE BONDAGE OF THE LAW) to describe the PROMISE of the work of Redeemer Jesus - salvation by Faith in Him alone.
Paul isn't talking to Islamists, he's talking to believers who want to be under THE LAW: Judaism, whether Talmudic or not.
if i'm in error, someone please help.
Galatians 4
1 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. 31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
isn't Paul saying cast off the bonds of trying to find favour with God by obeying the Law (which only Jesus could do?)
