Hi all,

I recently joined the forum. I am not christian. Someone here told me only Christians will go to heaven. Why is that so? I believe Jews(not all) and Muslims also believe in heaven. Why only Christians will go to Paradise?

Can you give a more logical reason. Some might say Obama is the way but i won't just believe just because somebody said so. (Sorry to be straight forward but that's the point)

The muslims rely on mohammed ... they will meet him in the grave where he now lies... or in the lake of fire.

The Jews who reject Jesus rely on the law ... they failed to keep it ... it will convict them at judgement.

The Christian relies on Jesus ... the Messiah who bore their sins for them, died, but then rose again and sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is the salvation God provided for mankind. Believe in Him and you will have eternal life with God.

JOHN 3

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

The Bible says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." Hebrew 9:27

Are you familiar with Jesus Christ's suffering on the cross? The Bible say in 1 Peter 3:18, "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit."

Who's the just? Jesus Christ. Who's the unjust? Us, all men. The Bible says Jesus Christ suffered and died for our sins, why? To bring us to God. How do you get to God? Through trusting in what Jesus Christ did for you to bring you to God. Jesus Christ is the only way.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

Can you give a more logical reason. Some might say Obama is the way but i won't just believe just because somebody said so. (Sorry to be straight forward but that's the point)

God the Father, the father of Jesus the Son of God. Jesus did not have an earthly father as parent.

By saying , father what is it you mean? God or father as in parent?

There is no more 'logical reason'. That is what Christians believe and why we believe it. The wages of sin is death. The Truth is that Jesus Christ is the only Way because He is the only One who has the Life you need

What better way to rejoice on this resurrection day? :)

I rejoice in the opportunity to share the hope Jesus brought to me! :)

I rejoice that I have an answer to that question! :)

Then why can you not understand the logic of being dead and needing life??

It's logical that God created Adam and Eve, and they were perfect. Without sin, but with a mind of their own, and freewill, and they chose to disobey God. They had 1 rule, and they couldn't obey that rule. That resulted in sin entering the world, the perfect world was not perfect anymore. Death entered the world.

As the world aged, sin multiplied, for sin is like a virus, that consumes all it touches, not just people, but the world itself. Animals started fighting and killing each other, men started eating meat just as animals would eat meat, and sin multiplied.

As time went by, sin made people live shorter life spans, as we got further separation from God, veiled by sin, we lived a far number of years less. And we made more things in sin, to separate us from God.

God sent His Son, as a chance at redemption, to the perfect beings He had created. A chance to once again be made perfect. His Son willingly laid down His own life, for there was no man that could have killed Him, no country could have stood against Him, yet, He gave up his own life, and suffered and was humiliated, just to give us a chance to be made perfect again.

Blood is holy to God, and He knew that only through blood sacrifice could sin be separated from man. So He sent the perfect sacrifice, and to honor His Father, and because of His love for us, Jesus became that perfect sacrifice.

As a result of His sacrifice, God was true to His word, and resurrected His Son, and gave power to all people, to call upon His Son for their own salvation, and separation from sin.

If you accept that Jesus was God's ultimate redemption, and ask His blood to clean yourself, then God will never see your sin again, He will only see the blood of His perfect sacrifice, the blood of His Son.

I don't speak without Scriptural reasoning.......... :)

2 Corinthians 6:11) O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.
12 .) Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.
13 .) Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.
14 .) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 .) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 .) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 .) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 .) And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

And what is the answer?
Not what, who. Jesus Christ.

Christians all over the world today celebrate the resurrection from the dead of the Savior of the world. Because He lives, you can live as well. The wages of sin is death, BUT, the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. That is the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

"whoever believes will in Him have eternal life." John 3:15

God also requires faith. Believing without seeing, knowing or understanding.
Much of the bible can involve logic. But the very Concept of the biblical God's existence Defies logic. Using limited, man made logic doesn't always work to define something outside the realm of mankinds logic.
You have been given answers, you just dismiss them.
You say you don't believe things just because someone says they're true, but most of what you know you didn't study firsthand to see the proofs. You didn't witness history with your own eyes. You don't personally know every person in the public view, yet you still form ideas of what you believe is true about these people, in part because of what others say.
Truth is people believe all sorts of things blindly, just because they're told. And not only do they not scrutinize the truth of it, they spread it to others and even defend the point of view. It's only when it comes to God, and not Wanting to believe, do people suddenly require proof. It's rather hypocritical to live your life blindly accepting things you're told but then demand proof when it comes to God. That's not living consistently.

Because God will not allow sin in His house.
