Psalm 16 is also the Son's prayer. Speaking to the Father in verse 10 He says

For You will not leave My soul in She'ol, Neither will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

So we know it is the Son praying as the New Testament quotes this verse telling us it is Him.

In verse 11 the Son says

Thou wilt shew Me the path of life: in Thy presence is fulness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

His path to life was the law which required Him to willingly offer His life to save us trusting in the promise of life in the law that the Father would raise Him from the dead. That is what Psalm 119 is all about.

This verse in Hebrews 5:7 answers the question and describes the Son's prayers in the Psalms and especially 119. It also says He was "saved" from death in answer to those prayers that are in Psalm 119 and others.

Hebrews 5:7 Who(Messiah Yahshua) in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him(the Father) that was able to save Him(the Son) from death, and was heard, in that He feared;

the answer to understanding Scripture is revealed and no one gets it. listened to numerous Psalm 119 sermons on youtube in the past week and nearly all of them attribute Psalm 119 to David which is completely laughable. they have to ignore everything recorded in the history book about David to think he could be the Person Who prayed Psalm 119. No one came back to this thread to discuss it any further. just like many times before. you reveal the answer to understanding Scripture and all you get is dust in your face. adversity indeed.

the psalmist, the psalmist, the psalmist, the psalmist, the psalmist. the ridiculous phrase that preachies use over and over and over to make themselves sound smart when it actually reveals how uninsiteful they are for not knowing Who is praying. and then their interpretation is wrong since they disregard the obvious.

read a couple posts back where Hebrews 5:7 is quoted that answers that question directly. He needed to be saved from death. that is what Psalm 119 is about. It is His prayer to be raised from the the dead because of His obedience to the law in offering His life to save us, which the law required of Him.

Psalm 118 is Yahshua's prayer too. knowing that reveals so much. He revealed His heart to us in the Psalms in His personal prayers to His Father. it gives us His perspective on what he experienced and went through. think of what that means.

one thing is certain. if the preachies understood that Psalm 119 is Yahshua's prayer for life and to be raised, their sermons would be totally different.

pick your favorite Biblical teacher or expositor and check what they said about Psalm 119 and see if any of them knew that Psalm 119 is Yahshua's prayer for life. no time to read them all. have not read one yet who grasped it. that means their interpretations were flawed and erroroneous. nothing against them personally. if they trusted Yahshua for forgiveness of sins they are in the congregation. can't find one who knew Psalm 119 was Yahshua's prayer for life though. if you know of one please post it.

the promise is life in the law to Yahshua is essential to understanding Scripture. He was saved from death by His obedience to the law in giving His life to save us because we cannot save ourselves. Knowing Psalm 119 is His prayer to the Father for life and to be raised according to the promise of life in the law to Him explains so much. He is the only Person Who could have prayed Psalm 119.

in verse 176 the last verse of the Psalm there is a mistranslation of the Hebrew word abad/avad. that word means perished or destroyed in it's many uses throughout Scripture. for some reason english translations say "went astray like a lost sheep" which is wrong. it is actually more like "am missing like a slain Lamb." He is asking His Father to seek Him when He was dead when They were seperated by death. His Father answered His prayer by raising Him from the dead. so one of the only verses that leaves any doubt that Psalm 119 is Yahshua's prayer is actually one of the best proofs it is Him when He even refers to Himself as a slain Lamb.

So i didnt bother to read the OP, I just dropped in to say. That its very suspect when someone claims to have knowledge unknown to any christian prior. For 2000 years till this day none of the devoted followers of Christ even those who were martyred for the faith ever had this secret knowledge that is revealed to day.
