The word of the Lord came again to me, saying: “Son of man, when a land sins against Me by persistent unfaithfulness, I will stretch out My hand against it; I will cut off its supply of bread, send famine on it, and cut off man and beast from it.
Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness,” says the Lord God. Ezekiel 14:14

“Or if I send a pestilence into that land and pour out My fury on it in blood, and cut off from it man and beast,
even though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live,” says the Lord God, “they would deliver neither son nor daughter; they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness.” Ezekiel 14:19-20

These three Prophets of God - Noah, Daniel and Job - give a stern warning from God against the error of a pre-trib rapture.

The events surrounding their lives and their faithfullness to God, against all odds, are a 'End Time prophetic Warning from God.

NOAH - The greatest tribulation the world had ever seen up to Noah's time led to the wrath of God wiping out the entire world.
Whereby only eight souls who were in the Ark were saved.

DANIEL - Israel has been judged by God and placed under Babylon Rule - Daniel, beloved of God, is given the understanding and vision of the First Coming of Messiah and BEFORE His Second Coming - the revealing of the Antichrist.

JOB - A man of who walks in the righteousness of God and blameless before HIM is put to the TEST of satan's wrath - will Job endure to the END and maintain his faith in GOD - Yes he does and God comes to meet him in the midst of Great Tribulation and RESTORES LIFE to Job.

So you say. Others disagree. One day all will be clear. It would be wonderful if Christians focused on Christ, who He is in us and who we are in Him. It's not a debating society. It's new life in Christ.

God's warnings were to Israel. There is no famine in Saudi Arabia. Man and beast still flourish there. They are not faithful. You can add Kuwait, Qatar and some other Muslim nations to that list. Your interpretation does not match reality.

YES, christians should repent and focus on Christ and His words = the reason for this Thread.

Too many christians disagreeing with the LORD.

Noah Daniel Job
Three men in survival mode
Great troubled times
does this ring a dime
These men had to endure
the most severe type of war
satan whose lies men carry
sent his angels for women to marry
God said no marriage bliss on this
Water and mud to smother this mess
Noah was risen above in the Ark of God's Love

Daniel the Boy wonder
smart as a whip people will quip
sent to Babylon with his friends
they all ended up living right to the End
Hot fire for three, just bow the knee
No sir, we will not bow
Nebby had a holy cow
in you go for the show, too late now
the Son was there to quench the flare
God blessed their faith for they did not care

Job's Test was very brutal
satan told God Job's faith was futal
God said - go for it, but you cannot have his life
satan did his worse even thru Job's wife
Job stood his ground, true friends nowhere t be found
Out of the blue showed up Elihu
told Job to keep his cool
when the Lord appeared there was great fear
Job had to answer HIM who was near
in great Love, God from above
restored Job from His Abundant Love

“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord GOD, “when I will send a famine on the land— not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. Amos 8:11

"For this people’s heart has grown callous; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them.’" Matthew 13:15

eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;
but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God.

DT . . . I'm hung up on what you mean by your above quote. Are you saying that the stories of Noah, Daniel, and Job are warning of the doctrinal error of pre-trip rapture? I've gone over the OP at least 6 or 7 times, but I'm struggling to understand. Thanks for clarifying. :)

Amos 3:7 "Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets."

Noah, prophet of God who preached for 100 Years that Judgment was coming. The world was invaded by the fallen angels who married the daughters of men and produced an offspring that was an abomination before God. Greatest Tribulation the world had seen at this time. God had to destroy all flesh. Only Noah and his family, eight souls total were saved.
No pre-trib rapture for Noah. He had to endure thru the carnage as he built the Ark, God protecting and preserving him.
Once Noah finished the Ark and was inside, God rained down his wrath and destroyed the world that then was.
This is the Promise of God to His People who abide in His Word - Deliverance from God's wrath.

Daniel, Prophet of God during the worse Tribulation the nation of Israel had to face under Babylonian Rule.
During this time of Captivity, their faith was greatly tested under tribulation, temptation and suffering.
Daniel was thrown into the lion's den and was spared because God shut the mouth of the lions. Daniel's three friends were thrown into the fire for refusing to bow down to the Image. The Lord spared them and they lived. God delivers us from the midst of Tribulation and BEFORE he pours out His wrath. Many Jews died during this Babylonian captivity.

Job, Prophet of God who lived before Daniel but was mentioned by God last. This in itself is a Prophetic word from God to us.
i will stop here as you need to read the story of Job to find out. - PEACE

I'm sorry to say this, but what you've shared above doesn't answer my question regarding your below quote:

"These three Prophets of God - Noah, Daniel and Job - give a stern warning from God against the error of a pre-trib rapture."

Do you think you meant to write this perhaps in a different way?

As I read your words, it sounds as if Daniel, Job, and Noah were warning about false teachers and the errors of pre-tribulation repature. That doesn't really make sense (to me). This is not to say that you are wrong, but is to say that I am, perhaps, too ignorant to understand. :D

God wrote a story of Faith Hope and Deliverance while going thru Great Tribulation in and thru their lives. Their stories warn us against the falsehood of pre-trib that would be prominent in these last times before the Coming of the Lord.

This is why God mentioned these three Prophets to Ezekiel concerning Judgment upon Israel and the world.

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Romans 154

Now these things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. So the one who thinks he is standing firm should be careful not to fall. No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it. 1 Corinthians 10:11-13

I see. So you're saying that these "examples" extend beyond the Israelites in their 40 years of wandering?

All of the Bible is for believers. The Old Testament was all that was needed for three centuries until the New was complied. God bless you always.

The earth and the fulness of it belongs to the Lord and He judges the nations for their abandonment of His laws that He instilled in mens hearts even while not under the Law of Moses = Romans chapter 1

These same judgments we see here are in Revelation.

Once I had a voice come to me in my sleep. It did not say anything new but for me, it was clear.. He said "Now, the Children of Israel, while they were in the wilderness, were disobedient, and by their disobedience salvation was gained by the nations."

From this message I was blessed to discover how Israel was a lesson not only to the Twelve Tribes but to me. They are my forefathers and I thank them in the sight of God for being instrumental in preparing the nations for the true Israel to come.

Blessed be the New Jerusalem , and may it be established forever. Praise Yah, amen.

For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them.
For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

The Gospel was first spoken and demonstrated in Genesis, in the Garden by the Lord.

One Gospel for the Jew & the Gentile, for there is no distinction between them before God.

Therefore we, Jew & Gentile, find our Home Together in our Savior Jesus Christ our Lord - Amen.

AMEN to the Jerusalem from ABOVE who is the Mother of us all.
