I disagree with this one....
Unless you want to go with grace is the only thing.... live however you want, as long as you are mentally "assenting to grace"
Too many scriptures state otherwise... but that's another thread...
I never heard Pastor Prince say anything like that ... he believes as do I that living the Christ like Christ life will bring us victory over sin.

What besides grace is there?
Truth or verity, but this is not a human quality.
Faith, there is faith, but faith is not of ourselves, it is a gift so must be of grace also.

It is very difficult to be hyper- grace when the bible speaks of God's grace to us ward in such superabundant terms. Overflowing, fulness of grace.

There is such a thing as sin against grace, the Spirit of grace can be outraged. This to a Christian must be a thing to be feared above all things, a most dreadful state to be in. Sinning because we know we can.

Such sins are not without impunity, they cannot result in damnation but punishment can be awful even physical death ... don't do it.
That is what I would call hyper-grace.

Joseph Prince does not preach that. Nor did Paul yet they accused him of it, how come so few Christians are accused like Paul [and Pastor Prince] of giving license to sin?

Greetings,

I'm currently reading Derek Prince's 7 part Foundation Series (which has been packaged under very similar titles over the years, as one book, as three, or as seven books). It's non-denominational and really good.

"52 consecutive messages in 7 books systematically unfolding the great fundamentals of the Christian faith."

Paul.

What do you mean? We have salvation through grace, so nothing else matters?
We have no obligation to try to live Godly lives?
if grace is conditional it is not grace

You [little you] and little me may not like that but God has made it so.

it's a little thing called "baby rules the house"

That is everything is planned and ordered around baby, they get the first consideration, what is best for them. God has made it extraordinary simple for the sake of the most simple among us.

Salvation is a free gift. Yes there are folks who will abuse God's grace. God is able and He will deal with that in his own way and in His own time.

God has other options to damning someone
The church for the sake of fellowship may take disciplinary measures including excommunication but our main tools are exhortation, warning, rebuke, teaching, comforting, building up.

There are very strong reasons and encouragements to go on with God and advance in the godly life.
