When I speak of the 10 commandments, I am understanding that they are the law of love, as Paul says: Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:10. I am not meaning some outward observance mindset. I am meaning the spirit of the law which of course includes the letter of the law.
And you would be wrong

Jesus said the law of love does not break any command. And in context that would be any But we do not love perfectly like he did, Thats why we can’t claim we are perfect.

If your just focused on ten. You do not even yet understand what sin is. The “ten” were just a base guideline to prove we can not even keep these ten.. How can we claim we are righteous if we can not keep ten?

All the above shows is a "believer" who is trying to follow Jesus without belief will fail.
And if righteousness was impossible, our hearts sinful until we die then this would be salvation.

See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
Heb 3:12

If we cannot be free from a sinful heart, Hebrews disagrees and calls us to faith, cleansing and purity.

Without righteousness of action, and righteousness of the heart, one is just a thought Christian.
Thought Christian equals Easy Believism. Those who have been justified have also been regenerated. If a person has not been regenerated, they have not been justified. Those who are regenerated are new creatures, old things have passed away, behold ALL THINGS have become new.

Lol, Another one that does not understand what the word “repent” means
What does repentance mean in 2 Corinthians 7:9?

Not saying that repentance unto life is done more than once, only one regeneration. But a Christian repents everytime they err.

are you pure? have nothing, not one bad thing ?

or, could it be that this is a goal to aim at? or, it could it mean that we are not to let sin turn us away from God?

keep thinking that you can one day never sin again while still in the flesh. keep believing Jesus only forgives and does not save.

all self-delusional lies.

We all know what he said.....he has a habit of denying things he has obviously stated or implied.....makes me think of how one will dogmatically go down while swinging the self justifying stick instead of just being honest.......
Besides the fact that I pointed out numerous flaws in the statement you made that started all this bedlam (see post 96,912), please provide post numbers where I

a. he has a habit of denying things he has obviously stated or implied..(Don't forget, I admitted being wrong and apologized on one matter, so don't bring that one up like you did TWICE AFTER I APOLOGIZED.

b. Justified myself for anything.

Post numbers would be nice, because I propose you are lying like others. You invented the false accusation mob.

I like your second line...

NO living human is sinlessly pure, except Jesus. But if we have been regenerated, we are to purify ourselves even as He is pure. We are to perfect holiness in the fear of the Lord. We are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. We are to add to our faith, virtue and to virtue knowledge, and to knowledge self control...etc. we have crucified the flesh with it's affections and lusts, we are redeemed for the purpose that we be zealous of good works, we are created in Christ Jesus unto good works, we are to be neither barren nor unfruitful, abounding in the work of the Lord, and our labor is not in vain, we are fellowlaborers with Christ and servants of Him, we are bought with a price and called to glorify God in our bodies and our spirits, which are His, we are not redeemed with silver and gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, therefore we are to be holy as he is holy.

This is the purpose, desire, and will of God for us...

None of this is to earn salvation. All of this is TRUE BECAUSE we are saved.

...and none of us has fully attained or are already perfect, but this we must do forgetting the things that are behind and pressing forward to the things before us, we must press on to take hold of that for which Christ took hold of us.

Therefore we must do all things without murmering or complaining, for God works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure.

and we must keep ourselves from idols.

Let me paint a picture of your view.
Here is the most beautiful painting possible. But there is a fault here, in the corner, because this
should have been here and not there. So it is all worthless.

Now there is truth in some errors, which are sin, are foundational, but they need to be obvious and
very apparent, or else you are into just legalism.

Paul is describing in Christ we have knowledge of perfect love, working through the cross.
It is our hearts that need addressing and our walk. We need to resolve these both and walk, faultingly
at first, but eventually like Jesus did.

Now your point is to ask is there a fault somewhere?
And my response is as God convicts me through His word, and by His Spirit, then I know, but otherwise
I have a clear conscience and a pure heart.

Until you can see the picture God is building through His people, to the point of true perfection, you miss
it all.

And from your approach you believe this is not Gods purpose in the church even though He declares it
plainly.

19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household,
20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.
21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.
Eph 2:19-21

I cannot help anyone who does not know or experience change in their hearts, but many millions know
and rejoice in this.

And those who have unbelief in the way of Jesus, cannot know Him, as He calls us to the way, as this is
the way to eternal life.

45 "He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
46 "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

He is referencing me....DC.....and Macaroni cannot deal with the fact that i said it takes growth and maturity to bear fruit and even said that is some it takes years of growth and maturity...he simply cannot accept this fact that is supported by not only nature, but also JESUS comparing wheat with tares...and he has been obsessing over it for months now and making all sorts of false, deceitful statements...
You said it takes a period of growth and maturity to bear anything (in reference to fruit.) Anything would include the following...

the fruit of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, etc.

Supporting a ministry. Phil. 4:17- Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

Bringing forth the fruit that the Colossians began bearing the day they believed. Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, (present tense, continually bringing forth fruit) since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth: (Colosians 1:6)

Offering the sacrifice of praise to God...By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Hebrews 13:15

You said "ANYTHING" as in ANY TYPE OR KIND OF FRUIT. SO that would include all of these above.

I'm sorry you are still defending a biblically untenable position.

What? Ever see a snake that does not have venom that causes death?
They hate the truth so much, they cannot bear to read it, or see it quoted because it makes them
feel bad. You only get apologies from those who know their own mistakes or error. I think this
boat sailed a long time ago, lol

....and plus DC, by your system of interpretation (see fruit tree analogy) it would take THOUSANDS of YEARS for wheats and tares to grow, because the parable of the wheat and tares stretches to the end of the age. LOL

But that just proves that you were guilty of "Making a parable walk on all fours" in your argumentation.

2. I do not need your help, if anything, you need mine. I have given you the definition of sin many times, you reject it.
how can you claim to have a clear conscience when you do not call sin what it is....

Brain washing scripture

Works evil, faith good, conviction evil, assumption good, fear evil, arrogance good

If you buy the above emotional morality, God will never be able to bring the truth to your heart.
Everything takes time and we need to change to see the light and truth.

Once one shuts ones heart out of conviction and righteousness, all is lost, given over
to self indulgence and greed.

Following Jesus is a works way, it involves our effort in Christ to see His kingdom established
in our lives and the lives of others. Jesus said this simply be saying

If you love me, you will obey what I command.
John 14:15

But this hides something much deeper. You love Jesus because of who He is and what He
is encouraging us to do, which is perfect and good.

So I can but imagine those who oppose what I share and testify to, do not love Jesus or
His way. Jesus said this to the pharisees which works equally here,

I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts
John 5:42

He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.
Matthew 12:30

"You do not know me or my Father," Jesus replied. "If you knew me, you would know my Father also."
John 8:20

Here is your problem.
You view sin as a check list, not as love overcoming hate and hurt.
Do you really believe mans problems are because he cannot obey the law?

He cannot obey the law because sin has made him a slave to hurt and selfishness.
Only when Christs love rules our hearts do we know the meaning of freedom.

Clearly this is not something you are aware of, or else you would not continually
raise these empty points, from a distorted view of what sin actually is.

If the love of God reigned in your heart, simply this discussion would not take place.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good

You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus,
Galatians 3:26

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
Galatians 5:16

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.
25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-25

1 Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.
2 Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

here is your problem- all this is spin to avoid what sin really is.

and, the love of God does reign in my heart- I love truth, I seek truth, I seek facts.
I refuse to live in world where I let my feelings and emotions control my reality.

I accept facts, I do not change them to suit my personal delusions, as do you.
