Actually it does.

As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 25And this is what he promised us—eternal life. - 1 John 2:24-25

Please don't make this another scripture that doesn't really mean what it says.
You mean to address that to someone else. I do not do this.

Are you asking for red x's?
You are free to disagree with anything I post.
That's what a red x means.
Who is that, 11th hour that's getting offended that someone disagrees with her posts using the red x, then has a mod remove them?

I was saying you have to be one of the sheep already, before you can fall away. Do you understand the implications? The lost sheep are already saved, but now are lost.
Thank you for rephrasing. I would agree with your statement save for the last part. The found sheep are never lost, can never be lost. If they can be, that would be the responsibility of their Shepherd. Whereas the Shepherd that is Christ has told us,He will lose none that the Father, Jesus was the Father, has given Him.
"Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish."
The Book of Matthew chapter 18.

We don't control the mods.

My guess if a mod removed some it would be for good reason.

No need to make a big deal about it.😁

(half of my negative emotes were because now banned members literally just gave all red x's to a discussion that happened earlier because they were holding a grudge, i don't care if they stay or go.... even if every point i made was correct i actually look back and see i was being impatient and my delivery was more defensive against accusations than an attempt to help this person who was so far from truth)

There is actually someone who usually throws "heretic" in their name and keeps coming back to never post and show their grudge through negative emotes until they are banned. I think of a mod removed some of those they should be thanked for spending their precious time.

Jesus died ONCE for our sins, and we are redeemed for PAST sins. Then we are told to sin no more.

Then YOU DO NOT THINK YOU SIN ANY MORE ? ? ?

You have Misinterpreted that VERSE, BIG TIME.

Hebrews 12:5-8 (NRSV)
5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as children— "My child, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, or lose heart when you are punished by him;
6 for the Lord disciplines those whom he loves, and chastises every child whom he accepts."
7 Endure trials for the sake of discipline. God is treating you as children; for what child is there whom a parent does not discipline?
8 If you do not have that discipline in which all children share, then you are illegitimate and not his children.

1 John 3 they were never of us

what is it with the words never, forever and eternal that you can not understand?
Every aspect of those words allude his cognative ability to understand.....along with...

saved
justified
uttermost
kept
lose nothing
nothing shall separate us
sealed unto
in
I will
never leave
never forsake
if we believe not
to the one that does not work but believes

Not to mention contextual honesty, Greek verb tense, scriptural integrity and on and on and on!

Nope

just using the word

the Bible can not contradict

if joh said they were never saved.then all the passages you give must not say they can lose salvation.

that would make them contradict, and the bible unreliable

ps. you admit you still sin, by your. Own account, you must be of the devil, (using your interpretation of that passage)
Amen....one contradiction after another and he regularly red x's truth that condemns his error.....par for the course with a religionist

None of that is necessary if we stay firm. Once Saved Always Saved, provided we run the course.
False.....WE do not maintain anything genius and I for one am sick of your devaluation of Jesus and his power....what you peddle is NOT OF GOD!

* as long as one BELIEVES.

belief in Christ is all it takes to be saved. the N.T. says this over and over, and you salvation losers just refuse to see it..
And I would also argue this view based on the following scripture written to saved children of God with the apostle including himself by the use OF WE......

If WE BELIEVE NOT, he abides faithful because he CANNOT DENY HIMSELF.

Jesus MAINTAINS OUR SALVATION and HE FINISHES AND COMPLETES THE work of faith in US.

To say WE MUST anything to maintain salvation takes glory away from Christ and to say WE can lose faith and lose salvation absolutely calls Jesus and Paul liars by saying that Jesus does not FINISH AND COMPLETE the work of faith in a man he began it in.......

All people ever do on here is to find fault with others. It needs to stop. If you are going to find fault, explain why.
In all seriousness you must be as dense as lead.......we have no problem with anyone in particular, but we absolutely despise the false dogmas that you guys peddle when it devalues Jesus and lifts self.....

I guess you think your innocent if this :rolleyes:
He has been playing the woe is me victim card for sometime now while failing to understand that our issue with anyone boils down to what they peddle.....we will absolutely expose and dogmatically stand against any "gospel" that devalues Jesus while placing any emphasis upon what WE DO <---as in anything that says we must help Jesus maintain pur salvation!

Before I go out, here is something to ponder. In Romans 3:24-25 we read,

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Salvation covers past sins, but then we are told to sin no more.
And GRACE COVERS ALL FUTURE SINS GENIUS and if we SIN TOO MUCH GOD whips US.....CALLED CHASTENING PAL!

So another one those.... if this is your dogma you are more trouble than I thought.
Pure contradiction hey.....so.....how does one get a future sin taken care of...according to him only past sins are covered......I guess grace bounding ahead of our sin was all bs....!
