Quote from grace7x77

I like Bas...I did his course last year.... Re: What does it mean to rest in God? #48

Bas Rijksen is the guy teaching in this video. This is 100% what Grace7x77 believes, he has done his course, is completely soaked in this attitude and theology.

So I would say Grace7x77 is being completely miss-leading.

I have a few stronger words to say, but the Lord helps restrain me.
Gods humor.

Your going to end up finding the truth through your "target."

Keep diggen friend. Find more stuff.

God has restrained me from speaking to you for a few days now.. Because it would not be pretty.
Grace 77 has continuously said, he does not agree 100% what any of the people he posts say, I have read may a book from people I do not agree with on all things. It does not mean what they had to say was not good.
I am the most balanced nice person you could hope to meet.

If I put up videos of Hitler and Stalin and Mao and said there are some leadership lessons you can learn from these guys, I would not be wrong, but the fact I put them up as people to be taught by about anything other than examples as not what to do, and help how to oppose deception, I am actually agreeing with what they stand for.

Now I give everyone a fair hearing, but will tell you why I reject them.

Now in a discussion about grace and finding peace with God, you use people you agree with to put your case.

So I ask you EG, do you support Farley and Bas ? Now these are not trick questions. This is called walking in the light.

I 100% do not. I did like Farley's initial presentation, and thought it was great. But a small difference about a major issue about what is a person, what is being born again changes everything, literally.

My point is I have good reason to call this heresy. It is not slander or malice or any of the things ranged against me.
It is simply I know why I believe what I do and how it is built. So I respond to this kind of propoganda badly once I find the root of their appeal and the message they are spreading is not sound.

With this knowledge, I can see why you would want to stay far away from Farley and his crowd.
A word of advice...go hear what is actually being said ...believe me and others can testify...things can and usually do get "twisted". ...:)

It amazes me how many cannot see the absolute contradiction in this statement.

One has to change this statement to make it "work".....

we are justified by faith and works alone, through faith and works alone. Because if we don't have faith and works our faith is dead.

We are saved by Grace the moment we believe. If our faith is not working or producing fruits it is DEAD. But not Grace. Because we are saved by Grace.

New American Standard Bible
If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

He can't deny Himself........

New American Standard Bible
because we are members of His body.

Hi Gr8grace,

There is no contradiction...unless you are saying Paul and James contradict each other.

I am sorry if I have got you wrong but I am struggling to understand what you are actually saying...that is more than likely my fault as I am not the brightest lightbulb in the house.

Which part of James and Paul do you see a contradiction? I may be able to help? Now, Take careful note and I mean very careful note of what tye of works Paul is talking about.

Paul::::

Galatians 2:16New King James Version (NKJV)

16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

Faith Without Works Is Dead

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your[a] works, and I will show you my faith by my[b]works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?[c] 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says,“Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”[d] And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

Remember I do not believe that one is Justified by anyother thing than grace through faith in Christ.... WORKS OF THE LAW save no one ..hint hint!!!!!

Exactly....there is not a teacher around that I agree on everything with 100%. It doesn't matter if it's a book or a video. I have taken lot's of courses in my lifetime from many different teachers. I like a lot of teachers but there are some things they says I do not agree with but I don't call him a heretic or satanic because I don't agree with them.....lol
I wanted to highlight part of what Grace777x70 said here, because this has been the number 1 source of personal frustration I have experienced since returning to CC.

- Sounds like the words of someone who understands their faith better than I understand my own faith.

Don't you know. Your not supposed to quote them, even if what they say is 100% truth in that subject. because they may be heretics of the third degree!!! whatever that means..lol

Well..it looks like every Christian that has ever lived is a gnostic and a heretic then because none of us got it 100% right...thank God for His grace and mercy and the forgiveness that is in Christ...;)

Again, You are being misrepresentative.

1. Grace777 did not say he supported or agreed with everything bass said a few times now
2. Grace only posted that video because Coby posted another video from the same guy about taking love breaks and HRFTD (as usual) made some comments about the guy, Thus Grace posted the video so we could read what the argument was about. and not just take HRFTD's word (HRFTD has lost ability to be a judge f people. because he has a habit of judging people based on what others say about them, not what they say themselves) Not because he believed everything the guy said.

I find nothing wrong with the other person from going to see what I have saw, But I am not an expert because I have not studied him, Thus am not qualified to give an answer if I would follow him or not.

If you want to judge grace 77based on what you THINK he teaches, and not on what he actually teaches, that's on you.

I dont see that the hyper -grace movement is heretical, it is in grave error.. and some might even see them as antinomian towards the third use of the law...(moral). There is a difference between being in error and being heretical.

However, It will lead to very serious problems in the future as all errors do.

PeterJens, You see this, right?
This is theological relativism. It is also dishonest. You go with teachers you agree with 90% of their teaching and believe you can learn something from them.

PW - if you want to follow Grace7x77 on this basis, that is your choice. I have one simple policy. Do they agree with Gods word? Yes, I will listen to them, no, they are not a source of information from the Lord.

I am not sure how you understand how propoganda works. It distorts the boundaries, and says the extreme positions are just miss-understood because of your inbuilt opposition to the truth. In time you will see the reality.

The Kingdom is built on Jesus alone. Anyone denying Jesus's words and meaning is not following Jesus. There are areas of debate around which we are unsure of the exact meaning of a phrase but that is very different from saying these words are irrelevant.

It was the parsing of one verse. And it was correct. Simple as that.
To someone like yourself who believes that a person can apostatize from the faith and still be saved, I can understand why the conditionality of fellowship with GOD being dependent upon walking in the light needs to be removed.

Angela needs to reflect upon the type of mind her academic exegesis of that verse appeals to.

by using this formula. I probably would not listen to anyone, Because I have yet to meat a soul I agree 100 % with.

and I do not follow anyone, I do however like to discuss Gods word.

We are not in CC to force our belief system down everyone's throat. I would hope we are hear to learn anew things and discuss the great treasure we have in gods word. .

How do you determine whether words shared by an individual agree with Gods Word or not?

What does Grace777x70 (or anyone) have to gain by spreading propaganda?

Well this is an interesting, albeit naive, question. For one thing, people who are insecure in their faith seek to surround themselves with like-minded people. Some just have malevolent intent. For another thing, I have asked Grace777x70 many times if he is in some way affiliated with, or derives some sort of material benefit for directing traffic to, that website that he constantly links to (much, much more so earlier than now). I never once received a simple yes, or no in response. His words were always framed in ways that they could be interpreted more than one way.

But let your statement be ‘Yes, yes; no, no,’ and anything beyond these is from the evil one. Matthew 5:37

The problem I have with hyper-grace is the overflow from wof, health and wealth teachers, like Kenneth Copeland.
The same crowd who started down this road are in hyper-grace.

Now once I become called non-christian for holding middle of the road christian beliefs, it is they who have chosen to break off their version of the gospel from the traditional biblical version. Grace7x77 has published a number of times an agenda for purging the church of legalists.

As HRFTD demonstrated much of the language is gnostic in its construction and feel. Large parts of the evangelical church are now becoming active against the teaching and its excesses. Because they have declared open warfare and want to distinguish themselves as separate from the rest of the body, I think over time that is exactly what will happen.

What I found with EG for instance, though in doctrinal terms we agree on almost everything except eternal security, I am an unbeliever. It is not possible to have fellowship with people who say such things, and want to generate this level of antagonism and then claim it is us who are generating it. This is no isolated experience, everyone meeting this group is finding the same response.

Their theology is premised on we are pharisees earning our way to heaven, who are truly evil and dooming people to hell.

So I do not see an alternative to saying this teaching is heretical.
