A couple years ago I was sitting in church listening to a traveling preacher, when I heard this

"We don't need this old stale bread!!" He said as he held up the precious Bible!

"We need fresh bread!" He shouted!

I remember sitting there shocked as I heard him calling the very book that saved me 'Old Stale Bread'.

Can anyone give me some opinions on this?
Luke 5:38
But new wine must be put into new bottles;
and both are preserved.

Hmmmm I actually never thought of that...that's a good idea :) I just don't wanna say something stupid.
Well, Paul told us to pray constantly (1 Thess 5:17). It seems like good advice to me. I think the Lord loves us enough that he'd rather have us say dumb things sometimes than to neglect him.

A couple of years ago? By now I would have forgotten, not only what he said, but what he looked like. There's only but so much room in my head for memories, so I try to filter out the useless ones.
