You answered the question but you still receive a fail. The only baptism that saves is Holy Spirit baptism and that is administered only by Jesus not any man.

The eunuch received water baptism only after he made a testimony of having believed in Jesus. He was saved before he went into the water. Philip asked the question that too many today are afraid to ask. Just want to count the baptisms and ask for a testimony of having trusted Christ as their Savior.

We are saved by grace and not water baptism. hFor the cause of Christ

To some extent i agree with you but what i am getting is that you are overlooking the baptism of water. It was very important for the eunuch to be first be baptized with water so that he/ she could be baptize with holy spirit..... Act 8:36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, "See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?"... Pual even stresses this in acts... Act 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit....so at the end of the day jesus send the holy spirit to be with us to guide and that is why we all say that i am no longer the one who lives but jesus christ in me... Why because after being baptized with water we recieve the holy spirit and the holy spirit, the son and the father are. This give the all reason why if you have the Holy Spirit in you you also have the christ....1Jo 5:7 For there are three who bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one....and who is the word he is jesus christ himself( read john 1 v 1-14)....and how do we receive the holy spirit by being baptize in water after repenting our sins..and the only way to be delivered from our sins is dying with Jesus Christ through baptism in water. And by this reason the water bare withness on earth ..1Jo 5:8 And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.

Why are we baptized in water in the name of Christ?
(1) to fulfill all righteousness. (Matt. 3: 15)
(2) as a sign of repentance. (Mark 1: 4; Acts 2: 38)
(3) to become a disciple. (Matt. 28: 19)
(4) to be saved. (Mark 16: 16; 1 Peter 3: 21)
(5) to receive the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2: 38, 39; 5: 32; John 7: 39)
(6) for the forgiveness of sin. (Acts 2: 38; 22: 16)
(7) to call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. (Acts 22: 16; 2: 21)
(8) to be baptized into Christ and into His death. (Rom. 6: 3; Gal. 3: 26, 27)
(9) to obey the gospel by dying with Him, being buried with Him so as to arise with Him. (2 Thess. 1: 8)
(10) to be clothed with Christ and His attributes. (Gal. 3: 26, 27)
(11) to become His child. (Gal.3: 26, 27)
(12) to die to the old self and be made free from sin. (Rom 6: 3-7)
(13) to be sprinkled with the blood of Christ. (Heb. 10: 22; 1 Peter 1: 1, 2)
(14) to be cleansed with the washing with water according to the word. (Eph. 5: 26)
(15) to be saved by the washing of regeneration. (Titus 3: 5, 6))
(16) to be born of water and Spirit to enter the Kingdom. (John 3: 3, 5)
(17) to appeal to God to be forgiven as He promised. (1 Peter 1: 21)
(18) to receive all spiritual blessing in Christ including life, redemption and salvation. (Eph. 1: 3, 7; 2 Tim. 2: 10; 1 John 5: 10, 11)
God bless.
