As we know there is yet another commonly celebrated holiday approaching. It is celebrated with chocolate bunny's, little chicks, pastel colors, egg decorations and MANY other customs.

And once again.....Satan has convinced man to do just the opposite of what God commanded. For man has said that this time of year is called Easter. And at this time of year man says that we should celebrate the RAISING from the dead of Jesus Christ.

But God commanded man to do just the OPPOSITE! Readers.....consider this.......

The first sabbath was created by God and it was commanded by Him that man keep this holy day on the 7th day of a seven day week, or the last day of the week. It was kept this way until Satan convinced man to change it to the first day of the week.

God gave man a way to know when one day has ended and a new one has started; at the going down of the sun. Satan convinced man to change God's way to midnight. If a person does not have a timepiece there is NO way to know when a day has ended or begun.

God gave man a way to know when one year has come to a close and another has started; at the blooming of flowers and the visual experience that comes with what we now call Spring. Satan convinced man to change the time of the coming new year to the dead of what we call Winter; Jan 1st. Again....without a calender we would have no idea when one year ended and another started.

And what about this man made holiday we have approaching us now; that of Easter?

Man says the day that is to be celebrated is that of Jesus resurrection. But God's word tell us it is His DEATH we are to remember for an everlasting memorial.

Now before the name calling starts....please consider the following.....I have a few questions ALL should consider;

How are we to worship God? Let's us let the scripture tell us.....

John 4
[23] But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

And what are we to prove?

1 Thes.5
[21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Now readers.....are these commandments from God's OPTIONS? No! God commands, thus it is a law, that we worship Him in "Truth" and that we "Prove ALL things"!

With that said AND commanded by God I have one more question.....

On what date did YOUR Messiah die?

Year after year man tells us that Christ died on a Friday! But it is IMPOSSIBLE for the day of Christ death to fall each and every year on a Friday!! Consider this....

My father passed away on 2 Aug. 2002. It was on a Fri. in that year. The next year, the anniversary of his death, was yet on 2 Aug...but the day for that year was Sat. The following year, 2004, the date was still 2 Aug...but the day was now a Mon.

The DATE of my dads death will ALWAYS be on the 2nd of Aug....but the DAY that his death is remembered changes year to year.

God's word tells us that Christ died on a particular DATE! The DATE of His death NEVER changes....it is the same DATE that is to be remembered from year to year. But the DAY that His death is to be remembered changes from year to year. And if Christ DEATH changes from year to year it is IMPOSSIBLE for His resurrection to be celebrated on a Sunday each and EVERY year.

We are to worship God in TRUTH! We are to prove ALL THINGS!

Is remembering the death of Christ each year on a Friday and celebrating His resurrection each year on a Sunday worshiping God in TRUTH!

Can you PROVE each year that Christ did in fact die on the day that you memorialize His death?

I know the DATE my Messiah died? God's word tells us! The "day" may change but the "date" NEVER changes!

Readers......how about you........"Can you worship God in Truth?". "Do you know...can you PROVE that the "DATE" YOUR Messiah died will again fall on a Friday this year?"

You should be able to figure the date from Luke's account of the conception. I did know at one time, and , I let that knowledge slip away. Let that be a warning to everyone. If you don't pay earnest heed to the Word of God; It will slip away. Like water leaking out of a vessel .

I'm just wondering.....did the "date" you figured out ALWAYS fall on the same DAY each and every year as it does with mans tradition?

The date of Christ death is given to us plainly in God's word. The problem is that most are too lazy to do as God instructs;

Acts 17
[11] These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

2 Tim. 4
[5] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

2 Tim. 2
[15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1 Thes. 5
[21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Instead of doing as instructed...most will just go along with the flow and accept what is given by their pastors and the status-quo!

Even though common sense should tell us that the date of the death and resurrection of Christ should NOT change year to year.....most ignore common sense and go with tradition. And they NEVER think to study, prove, search and ask for understanding from God!

Man says the day that is to be celebrated is that of Jesus resurrection. But God's word tell us it is His DEATH we are to remember for an everlasting memorial.
The body of Christ, the church, commemorates both his death and his resurrection.
But his resurrection is not to be minimized.

Paul says, if Christ were not raised, our faith is useless, futile, and we are still in our sins (1Co 15:14), even though Christ died for them.

So you are separating what God has joined.

On what date did YOUR Messiah die?

There is nothing to separate. Of course His resurrection is not to be minimized...for if He did not rise from the dead...this too would have been a lie.

But Paul is not saying that a new Holy day is to be observed. Paul can neither start a new holy day, nor end any of God's commandments!

God commands that Jesus DEATH is to be memorialized and observed forever. God set aside a specific date that is to be kept each year.

This post is simply to get people to consider WHICH date it is that God says we are to keep. And to consider if what they call worshiping the Lord on the day they observe Christ death to have been, is indeed worshiping Him in Truth! Worshiping God in Truth means just that! If you are going to keep the day to commemorate Jesus death....then at least get the RIGHT date!

For if they learn that God does have a specific date that He commands to be kept.....maybe they will then question just how is it that the date that man keeps ALWAYS falls on the same day!

You are part of the few, if any, that have a clue as to what date that is.

In the NT we are free to observe or not observe any day we wish.

This post is to have those reading to think about the day they observe as the day Christ died. For if there is a day that is to be kept, as directed by God, should it not be the correct day?

If one chooses to worship God, God demands that He is worshiped in Truth!

You know the day Christ died. It has not changed! Do we disregard the correct day for a false day?

Is that worshiping God in Truth?

Just curious.....will what you claim above hold true when Jesus reigns here on earth for 1000 years!

After Christ has come and punished those that opposed Him, will those nations that remain have the option of which day to serve and worship Him? Will they be able to "
...observe or not observe any day we wish."?

I cant remember : (

But, you can figure it from the Zachariah's Course he was taking in his duties as a priest .I was told it was the course of Abiyah. That last only a certain time. And you would have to add time for the traveling he did. And figuring How many months along Mary's cousin Elisabeth was along with carrying John. And other things. You can get to and exact date.

What many celebrate as the birth of Christ. is actually the conception if I'm not mistaken. But I can't remember. If you want to talk more about that message me any time.

As a hispanic catholic I can tell you that easter in spanish nations is a week that is all about Christ. Some hispanic nations are becoming more and more like americans, but you can still find many places that honor the whole week to Jesus. As a child I remember TV stations only aired christian movies thursday trough sunday. Many business did not worked friday, and none worked sunday. Many people would gather in designated areas where a "recreation" of the passion was acted out in the streets, there was always one young man who had to carry a cross barefoot. People would walk for long distances.

Then I came to America and people were picking up bunny droppings.

I don't think that the way we document and observe "time" is of Satan. Then again, I don't know much of the history of how that came about.

I also don't think it really matters whether or not we know the exact date of when Jesus died. What's more important is the fact that He did, and He did it for me and for all mankind. What's just as important as that is the fact that He did rise again, and I don't serve a dead god. I serve the God who is living and has defeated death. That is something I celebrate more than just at Easter and that is how I worship Him in truth.

I don't know if that's what you were looking for but that's my answer. :)

Ecc, once again you're giving Satan far too much power. He's small fry and many of these are man's ideas and not all of them are bad. As for Winter and Spring, they're at different times in different parts of the world (the Northern and Southern Hemisphere) so what you're saying doesn't hold any water. Stop giving Satan so much credit and give God the glory. Otherwise, you're going to be criticising everything in life and enjoying nothing. God isn't a killjoy, so don't make him out to be one.

That notion is derived from uncertain private interpretation of prophetic riddles, rather than Biblical interpretation, as in Rev 12, 13, 17.

Private interperpretation is uncertain because it can be interpreted in more than one way.
For example, 1,000 can be a symbolic number of completion, rather than a literal 1,000 years.
The "1,000-year completion" can be a symbol for the time between Christ's ascension and second coming, when the completion of his redemptive plan on the cross is accomplished.

All this to say. . .I don't take my understanding of Scripture from unfulilled prophetic riddles.
And that presents no problem, because although I do not know with certainty the meaning of the prophetic riddles,
I do know with certainty that whatever the riddles mean, they will not disagree with the rest of Scripture that is certain.

That means I am in a position to know what the riddles do not mean, when uncertain private interpretation of them is in disagreement with the rest of what is certain in Scripture.

So to answer your question: your notion of a 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth is not certain in Scripture.
