If the pathway to life is so narrow...... Then WHY is our perspective of God, and interpretations and "gut feelings" and "knowledge" and experiences in life so wide and different?

Why would we make it so complicated and so wide when Jesus said the way to life is narrow?


THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION IS THIS: Wide is the gate that leads to destruction.




Look at the gospel with simplicity, like a child.

There is One God, One truth,
only One interpretation.

Read the Gospel, and Do. Read and Do, Read and Do. It is very simple



SO DO NOT LET YOUR LIFE EXPERIENCES TEACH YOU ABOUT GOD

INSTEAD LET THE GOSPEL TEACH YOU AND LET THE GOSPEL AND GOD BE TRUE AND EVERY MAN A LIAR. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS YOUR TEACHER

I cannot help but wonder if you understand the implication of these words. Particularly "DO NOT LET YOUR LIFE EXPERIENCES TEACH YOU ABOUT GOD."

What i am saying is this: If you happen to pray for someone to be healed and they were not healed

that would be a life experience.

but if you let that single life experience teach you about God and you end up saying, "God cant heal because that one person wasn't healed"

thats not true because it is you did not believe. it is already God's will to heal

God's experiences teach us about life! :)

The role of human experience is to live exactly the way Jesus did, and that is what I am growing and striving toward.
