In other words, your sin does not stink. Mine does.
Whatever dude. You want to be a pharisee, feel free.
As for me, I will serve my lord and depend on him. And if I need to use some words like Jesus did and paul did to make a point. I will
You still do not get it do you?
You cannot make defense for yourself based on the context that Jesus and Paul used those words. Your taking it out of context and making it a proof text. People generally avoid application of the word based on their interpretation of the word and then use that interpretation to justify not applying the Bible truth to their life.
Last time and maybe it might get past the pride, false humility and into your heart.
In other words, any of MY sin is just as stinky as yours, yes sir, stinks just like your sin, no question about it.
The difference between us is that I grew past the need to use profanity around people, my family, on the job, even when I first got right with God and got back into church, I was using it in men's meeting's , church events, etc. I grew past the need to use it because I saw my spiritual elders and accountability partners did not or need to ever use those kinds of words and even in private I never heard them use them at all. I grew convicted out of how awesome they were not using profanity and several showed me how to get over it.
I stopped using profanity or thinking I had to I when I learned to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, and begin meditating on scripture about the mouth, and tongue.
It took a while, but soon, those words stopped coming out of my mouth and honestly it is rare when one does come out.
As a new creation you are without excuse Bro. The Bible says it as well. This is exactly what that mentor told me one night in a fellowship hall when he grew weary of my potty mouth.
You are double without excuse since you profess to teach and preach the word in ministry.
Now stop the crying and get growing.
