I view it as your public proclamation of Christ.

Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
The bible says obedience to it is when sins are remitted. (Acts 2:38, 22:16)

Amen, we can also go to Pauls letter to titus

NOT by works of righteousness which we have done (water baptism would be a work of righteousness we do) but by his mercy he saved us.
Again, you refuse to compare apples with apples.

That scripture does not pertain to the NT mandate associated with one's rebirth experience.

The household of Cornelius.

Acts 10:42-48
42 And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead.
43 To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.”
The Holy Spirit Falls on the Gentiles
44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word.
45 And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God.
Then Peter answered,
47 “Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?”
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days.

Note v43. Those who believe in him will receive remission of sins.
Why?
Because sins were forgiven on the cross and appropriated to us as a result of faith.
Then we see in verse 47 they had already received the Holy Spirit before baptism.
Then they were baptised.

Acts 2:38
38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

And it wasn't necessary for all before Jesus death, burial and resurrection?
If not why not and how we're their sins forgiven?
Not in connection to the spiritual rebirth. Notice what Jesus stated in Luke 24:47. Repentance and remission of sin would be preached in His name to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem. This occurred on the Day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:38)

Ok but please answer my questions for those before the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.

Just because people have repeated something over and over does not change what the bible actually says.

Again, what does the bible reveal? Paul's sins were not actually washed away nor had he received the Holy Ghost the moment Jesus appeared to him.

First, you answer me. Were Paul's sins washed away and had he received the Holy Ghost the moment he believed in Jesus?

You said verse 43 states those who believe in him will received remission of sins. The scripture actually states "To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.” Now notice what occurs in verses 47-48: Peter commands them to be water baptized in the name of the Lord.

There is a distinct difference in the scripture's meaning from what you think it says and what it actually says.

“Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?”
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.

Yes the sins were forgiven when they believed.
It does not say "after they were baptised"
Then they were told to be baptised.

His sins were forgiven when he believed in Jesus.
Were his sins forgiven on the cross and accounted to him when he believed in the Lord Jesus?

Did Jesus himself say that we need to baptised to have our sins forgiven?

The OP is obsessed with water. He will not be happy on judgment day. Good luck. Many have tried to show him.. Maybe you can get through with the help of God

Well, im here 2.5 weeks obo, and all he talks about is works and water.

What makes this type of situation Galatians 1:8 is that there are not several Redemptions or different Gospels.
There is just one.

Catholics and Jehovah Witness, have the same theology regarding water, as the JW's took a bit of theology from a few different groups, and their "water cult" theology, came from the "Cult of Mary'...(Catholic Church)

Evidently you just don't see what the scripture verses actually state.

The scripture actually states "To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.” Now notice what occurs in verses 47-48: Peter commands them to be water baptized in the name of the Lord.

Peter said everyone was to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus for the remission of sin on the Day of Pentecost. And Ananias told Paul to be baptized and wash away his sin calling on the name of the Lord.

I have heard it said many times by those who preach baptismal regeneration that the thief would have been previously baptised.
That's possibly true, if the Thief is a JEW.
The bible does not tell us....so, maybe he'a a Greek.
Maybe he was a Roman soldier who stole some meat because he was hungry and tired of "rations".

What we know is that He's in Heaven, and he was not water baptize as you find it today.
So, any water baptism that he tried, was John the Baptist's, and that one isn't connected to the Cross, or Christ, as Jesus had not died on the Cross yet.
