Right.

And when we say A, let us say B, too. They are being killed by muslims.

I think the only two biblical dealings with the persecution are:

a) to stay and to be rewarded in heaven

"Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."

Matthew 5:12

b) to run away

"When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. "
Matthew 10:23

James 1:2-4 (NASB)
[SUP]2 [/SUP] Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,

[SUP]3 [/SUP] knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.

[SUP]4 [/SUP] And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Following God's plan for you ( which is living godly ) will cause persecutions and they come from a lot of the times from religious people - not necessarily the people of the world as Paul's life showed.

The religious Jews including some of the believing Jews that were still zealous for the law harassed Paul constantly. When people preach the true gospel of the grace of God which is by grace through faith only for salvation - religious people will go bonkers on you....it was so back then..it is still so today.

2 Timothy 3:11-12 (KJV)
[SUP]11 [/SUP] Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

[SUP]12 [/SUP] Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution

On the other hand, we should realize that the goal of government/state is to protect its citizens by force, so we should vote for such a government, that is able to take necessary measures to protect Christians from persecution.

For the one in authority is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.

Paul said,

2 Ti 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

God's grace is sufficient and his power made perfect in weakness even in the same, Paul said

2 Cr 12:10
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Thats a good place to come to

Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated—of whom the world was not worthy—wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised, since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.
(Heb 11:35b-40)

Yes.Its part of His Children life. KJV.Romans8;17, And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.

Persecution has not YET hit the U.S., but I believe the storm is arising.
So we for the most part think little of it, and most churches treat it as a distant phenomenom (even though it concerns our brothers and sisters abroad.

But the enemy has more than one way to deny Christ than at the end of a gun barrel or a chopped off head.
Here in America the means to tempt Christians to deny Christ and worship satan is through selfish/opulent lifestyles, media indoctrination, and lust of the flesh; think...

For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. (1Jn 2:16)

These can be just as tough to deny as not denying Christ under an ISIS dull knife to the neck.

There are various forms of persecution, being subject to cruel mockings seems to be in the U.S even among christians as the same was towards Christ among the Jews in his time. The mocking of Ishmael is called persecution by Paul in Galations 4:29 (which agrees in Heb 11:36) but the afflictions work for us not against us search afflictions.

You are right. It would be good to have such a Government. But it seems they are very rare.
F.e. as world biggest democrat country trys more and more to cut the rights of christians.
When i look to my country.f.e its not alloud to say openly anything against homosexuality.

There is that where one seems to be reproved in ones choice concerning the same also, for example the wording of these

I snipped this out of a thorns study, but of this sort versus before where it speaks of men in the last days

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God

We can see here also...

And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

Much like trees without fruit twice dead (being choked) as by the same

Same wording in the widow here also

But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

The pleasures of this world

Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

Titus 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

That is what they passed over from

Just as it speaks of the widow (she that liveth in pleasure) as such being dead (presently) while she liveth (in the present) and the places of living and pleasure on earth and being wanton is shown. Its written in Job here

Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.

And of Moses here

Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

And Jesus points out here,

And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

Whereas Paul said,

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Afflictions are the better study on this, being appointed, how they work for us, there is tons on this really.

The others accepted his advice. They called in the apostles and had them flogged. Then they ordered them never again to speak in the name of Jesus, and they let them go. The apostles left the high council rejoicing that God had counted them worthy to suffer disgrace for the name of Jesus.

When the Bible says "persecution" it's talking about people being killed or capture and sold into slavery. When Americans talk about persecution we're worried someone thinks we're idiots because we like Duck Dynasty and think abortion is killing. I don't have to worry about being persecuted. I can only pray for those who really are because God has already told them to go there.

(And, don't worry if you've never seen Duck Dynasty. I haven't either... but I'd like to.)

Ishmael wasn't merely mocked! He was kicked out of his home at a young age! If we can't deal with a little mocking, how do we deal with hard stuff in life?

Jesus warned us that to follow him would cause the world to hate us. Christians seeking world governments to protect them is one of the many problems within the churches today, because union with world is forbidden by our Lord. If God is for us who can be against us? God is our protection, the world won't save us.

just a thought

We don't trust in the White house or the State house but only in God's house. Amen.

But to vote for Killary is to vote for Homos and transgender and to kill babies. You understand that their children go to private schools and are not under federal law. How would Obama like it if men were permitted to go into His daughters locker room?
