This is a good reminder to always be slow to trust the media. And to trust God's Word above all else! God doesn't want us to be fearing things that there is a lack of evidence for. We should reserve our greatest concerns for things that matter most - and that is to please God in our daily lives, and to be always doing what He tells us to do each - day - not primarily what others may suggest that we should do - as humans judgment of things is faulty compared to God's! All godly people in the Bible always put top priority on praying and seeking God's will first, usually (and whenever they didn't - it was always a mistake, as can be seen) before making important decisions in life.
Though I know Coronovirus is a real virus - and that some people get it, I know extremely few people who have gotten it. Though I have a great number of online friends. And none of my many Christian relatives have gotten it.
In plagues I've read about in history, it was obvious that they had great plagues going on. Everyone seemed to know someone who had gotten sick from the plagues described. But this hasn't been the case with Coronovirus. We just mostly have the media and hearsay of people to comment on the subject, but very few personally know people who have ever gotten Coronovirus.
God doesn't want us to be overly overcome by unjustified fears. We should prayerfully keep our lives as free of these as is possible, always! God wants our minds to be kept healthy by not being overly fearful. And He doesn't want unjustified fears to alter our life styles, and alter our ability to learn from Him what He wants us to do each day in our lives - we need Him to be fully at the controls of our lives in all matters.
