We are saved by grace, not of works lest any man should boast, Ephesians 2:8-9. We are still judged as Christians by our works. 1 Corinthians 3:14 "If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall recieve a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire." We are tryed by our works as Christians but if we fail we are still saved by the cross of Jesus.

The main problem I see here is you said ''my religion teaches''. If you are truly saved you will have no religion but a relationship with Christ and will produce goods works spontaneously, and therefore would have nothing to fear

You're a Christian?

Anyways, Jesus isn't the one that Judges on judgment day:

Joh 12:44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
Joh 12:45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.
Joh 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
Joh 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Joh 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Joh 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
Joh 12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

It is the wicked who are judged by their works
Revelation 20:12-13
(12) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
(13) And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

The righteous have nothing to fear cause Jesus stands in their place
Romans 8:1-2
(1) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
(2) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

We are not only saved by the death of Jesus but, by His life
Romans 5:10
(10) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

All you have to do is give your life to Christ. REPENT for your sins and ask Christ into your life. The Holy Spirit will come into your life and change you. It's about having a relationship with God. It's a supernatural experience, not a religious experience.

Acts 3:19: “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out” (So once we repent, Christ promises to forgive us our sins) Romans 6:22: “But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life” (So we have eternal life. We can’t lose it). Once the holy spirit is in you, you are a different person, you naturally start to bear the “fruits”. They are not forced, they are a gift from God.

Ephesians 2:8-9: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast"

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

Are you talking about the "great white throne" judgment?

If you are, this is not for believers. We are judged at the "bema" seat. where are works are tried by fire.

Only non believers works are judged at the great white throne, because they have not been given the work of Christ. So God judges their works to see if they can get in by their works. They are found wanting, because no amount of work will ever save anyone.

[/QUOTE]Of course. Any one that comes to Christ must repent and produce good works. Without these good works, you cannot belong to Christ. We have to put on the new man, and the new man practises righteousness. These are our works.

If our works are evil, then no change has happened and we have not repented. If we slip up here and there, which we will, then the spirit of God will bring it to our attention to shape up or ship out.

Jesus is Lord and Savior. many people accept Him as Savior as an insurance policy not to get into Hell but do not obey Him or His Holy Spirit. However, it doesn't work that way.

If you are fearful then you need to pray and ask God why, for God did not give us a Spirit of Fear but of Love, Power and a sound mind.

if you are truly saved, have repented of your sins and turned from them to JESUS as YOUR LORD and Savior and submitted to the guidance of the HOLY SPIRIt whom you pray to and who leads you then these verses would apply. if not, well that is another story.

Matthew 5:19
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

question: those who are least in the kingdom of Heaven, are they still a part of the kingdom?

here is another one you might want to think about:

Matthew 11:11
Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

to be a part of the kingdom of Heaven you MUST be Born Again and have the Holy Spirit dwelling in your heart and guiding you towards the upward call of God and allows your spirit to call out ABBA FATHER. Otherwise you are just lying to yourself.
